Baked Boursin Pasta @itsbrittwilliams brings you a spin on the viral Baked Feta Pasta. A simple and delicious meal prep dinner or weeknight meal for the whole family. Enjoy!

Ingredients 2½ cups cherry tomatoes 2 cups spinach ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil, plus more as needed ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more to taste ⅛ teaspoon salt 1 (5.2-ounce) package Boursin, Garlic and Fine Herbs 10 ounces pasta of choice 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1½ teaspoons chopped chives Grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish
Preparation 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). 2. In a large baking dish, add the tomatoes, spinach, and olive oil. Season with pepper and salt, then toss until evenly coated. Form a well in the center. 3. Place the Boursin in the well; drizzle with more olive oil and season with black pepper. 4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the tomatoes are roasted, the spinach is wilted, and the cheese is melted. 5. Meanwhile, in a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, according to package directions. Drain and set aside. 6. Remove the spinach-tomato-Boursin mixture from the oven and mix together until well combined. Add the basil, garlic, and chives; stir until incorporated. 7. Add the cooked pasta and toss to combine, adding more olive oil if desired. Garnish with Parmesan cheese. 8. Enjoy! - Навчання та стиль

This recipe (on screen) is bad and I wonder if they used the colourful pasta to try and hide how bad that sauce came together. This was badly tested (if it was tested at all and not just spit out by their recipe AI).
That was a 5.3oz block of cheese when the Feta recipe uses 8oz of a higher moisture cheese. The OG recipe also calls for at least 2 pints of tomatoes and this was maybe 1 and a bit? It also didn't cook enough many tomatoes were still holding their shape. Spinach isn't going to add the moisture that the remaining tomatoes bring.
This is why the sauce looks bad and doesn't even coat the pasta well.
Instead of doing this, take the existing Feta Cherry Tomato recipe and just replace the feta with a goat cheese of your choice, don't use boursin its too dry. If its too dry add pasta water/milk/cream. Don't add in all that spinach at the start but at the end where the residual heat will finish it off in a few minutes in that hot baking dish.

I’ve been using Boursin instead of feta in this for yearsssss (bc feta actually turns out really sour and nasty imo when cooked like this) and it’s perfect. Another good substitute is cream cheese.
And Imma add that this also could've been achieved on the stove & I'd have added chicken broth to the sauce.

Cream cheese also makes a good substitute too. I’m with you on the feta not working well in this dish. Cooked feta is really sour and gross

saute the garlic first instead of throwing it in raw
Just roast it with the tomatoes unless you like that sharp taste of raw garlic.

I think I’ll try this one this time. The feta pasta did NOT impress me at all. I am a pretty good cook myself, so feta cheese pasta was just “meh” for me. Maybe because I don’t like feta cheese in general, but I was hoping that pasta would turn out better.
This pasta seems better because the cheese is already seasoned. Looks better to me anyways.
