Maybe some strips of that sticky Velcro on the sides of the chassis and stick the sides of the body to the chassis, I wonder if that would help stabilize it. Looks killer 👍👍👍
@@outsourcedrc I meant on the sides of the chassis and the lower inside of the body like where the doors would be but after looking I looks like the body sticks out too far off the sides for that, it might pinch the body in and make it look weird.
Adhesive velcro , put a strip on each side, & a matching strip on the body, then it wont shake & rattle. Or brace the body shell with supports like on the stock rustler Body
This is great but seems like there is so much to do just to get that body on there. Have you seen the saberwolf slash buggy conversion? It is a bit easier and may help you with yours.
Maybe you can use a Traxxas bandit body and buggy tires or for the body you can buy the things that's sit on the site of the Traxxas slash to let the body fits better.
Sure doesn't jump as far as your E-REVO but definitely seems to hold together better. Definitely lands a lot softer too. That's probably because it weighs less. That being said, which one do you think you will enjoy more? I personally like the size of the Revo over the Rustler, but if the E-REVO didn't have the rear links that it does the Revo would be much more fun. I have the Summit and the Revo 3.3 with the E-revo suspension style but I don't have the issues the E-revo has as far as that goes. The summit is too slow and the Revo, I'm guessing it has something to do with the aluminum chassis.
I wasnt trying to send it across the yard. I was just testing out the body and wing to see if they hold up to normalish use. I like the E Revo more, but they Rustler is still super fun.
Hey bud.. Do you have a Facebook or Instagram page for your channel?.I think it would help your channel grow. Would love to see a walk around on your old mustang.😎
@@outsourcedrc understandable.. still would like to see that old mustang.. R/C and collecting musclecars are my Hobbies.. you look like a Ford fan, with the F series truck and mustang.👍
For a while I've been looking at RC race buggies but don't want to buy one only to have its parts become deleted lines. So have been looking at the rustler 4x4 as a base to change into a 1/10 race buggy style. Have even found but not purchased a new vxl roller.. it's just will race buggy wheels fit is my one concern.. or going short course truck wheels and tyres.. thing is I tried bugging Traxxas themselves via email to ask if they knew what parts could be used to create a hybrid blend from their parts list from either the rustler or the 4tec 2.0 .. the response was not satisfactory like they didn't bother talking to their r&d department.. with what cars they have the chassis the parts I think they could pretty much build one with only the need to come up with a new body to fit it.. and considering that people have done a slash 1/8 ,race style buggy .. they are missing out on a degree in the market they could fill quite easily.. Good videos this and the first one..
I like it. Traxxas needs to make one like this. 👍
This reminds me of the Backslash guys were making with the slash, looks like a cool buggy
What’s up stevo
@@lucaperaita3992 whats up brotha, good to see u
I am good too
Maybe you should do more of these vids! This thing looks awesome and i bet the feeling you got from doing it would of made you feel so good!
The audio was fine I heard everything perfectly and the body look good as well

Looking pretty good!
And the audio is not bad at all, I wouldn't even noticed if you didn't mention it at the beginning at the video.
I had to do a lot to clean it up. You should hear the raw audio.
Freaking love it man looks so good. Nice job man nice job.
Nice conversion you made, and good jumps, we have the same brand batteries, I have a venom LiPo 5000mah and they are awesome
Outsourced RC What was your technique to getting over 1000 subs in less than a year
@@ematheson558 There are a lot of things that help. Its not a single thing. Everything from Video titles to camera angles. There are a lot of factors.
The way you have yours and a adjustable Wing in the back man that thing is definitely capable of a hundred miles an hour I bet
That would be a challenge
I wanna try with mine lol an i also took my rustler an pede to work an bashed on my lunch break go chek it out man.
I GOT THE RUSTLER FOR CHRISTMAS
#BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!!!,I love it 😊
Awesome!
Congrats dude! Your gonna love it!!!!!!
Nice job.. audio sounds good here.
NICE job. GREAT engineering 👍
it's the back-tler? I like it! Enjoyed the creativity on this and the first video to fit this body on. Looks great! Thanks for sharing
Thanks!

The foam does not stick to that tape. I need to figure something else out.

Whay you don't glue foam from inside on a Buggy body left and right
Any way great yob, it's look fantastic
That’s an awesome mod I want to try it. Great video keep it up!👍
Just got to make something to protect them shocks and shock Tower
Buddy the best mod is if you like it
New to the channel and must say that buggy body turned out sweet looking ...
It did but I almost never have it on the Rustler.
Adhesive velcro , put a strip on each side, & a matching strip on the body, then it wont shake & rattle. Or brace the body shell with supports like on the stock rustler Body
way cooler than the original
Fit with traxxas response pro tire would be awsome! Nice job bro 👍🏽. Myb i can do the same on my erevo ✌️😁
I think it came out great. The body looks sharp. Do they make a hex extender that would fit the Rustler? That might help with the body rub.
The extenders wont help. Its the flat part of the tires that are rubbing, not the sides.
Or what. No really, it really is awesome looking. Nice job.
That turned out sweet brotha👍
Thanks!

Put the Gopro on the bottom of the remote, then you have full control and film at the same time 👍
I tested that and the audio was messed up. I'll have to wait for my new mic to come in.
@@outsourcedrc OK 👍
I love that nice job, if only you could get a snap body made like that
Now that I have my 3d Printer, I may try something like that.
I started to record a vid on repair on rustler 4x4
and then the SD card was full on my gopro 😐
Yeah I have large SD cards.
Looks awesome bro what body is that..
I believe its the Proline Predator.
I have the 2wd rustler it halls ass. Wanna put me a spoiler n maybe smaller wheels and change out the gearing

could check measurements on a tekno buggy body they are much more narrow
Get Traxxas CVD steel axles front and back
Nah. I'm going to stick with plastic axles. I want them to have some give to them when they twist.
Is this running with the 60 wt oil in the shocks here?.
Looking good
Have you put 17mm hex for 1/8th buggy wheels?
That audio was fine dude.
I had to do something to the audio. You should hear the raw audio. Its horrible.
Where can i get that body for my rustler
I got it from the internet. i forget where exactly. I have a video on my channel just before this vieo where I tell you exactly what it is.
You need to but a heat sink mine heats up alot
Mine never over heats.

Any chance of an in depth e revo cleaning? :)
Most likely not. I may show how I clean bearings though.
