- I was lucky enough to get a front row spot to film Tim Holtz demonstrating the new Distress Embossing Powders! These are so cool! And I think we all need some!! Lol! I hope you enjoy! I have loved watching the master at work!! Thanks for watching!!

Gayle, I am still trying to catch up after the holidays. Just now watching this video. OMG....how talented is little Timmy? I have learned more from him in this little video then I have in months. At least 10 or 15 years ago I wanted to emboss the edge of some thing and I didn’t have anything so I licked it, people thought I was crazy, and here all these years later Timmy is embossing water I think I was ahead of my time. 😂 No I was just too lazy to go get some embossing ink. I love Timmy, I wish we still had our local stamp store because I got to take classes from him and Dina Wakley and I’ll kinds of great people I really miss those days.

Good job getting up close and personal!! This is one area that I am sooo interested in. You got me especially interested in embossing when you did the Blue Fern journal and you did some highlighting embossing. I only have 2 colors but now...I really want to do some flower highlighting with embossing powders and now they came out with translusents!!! Thank you so much for sharing!

What bothers me about these products that “bring the bling” is there damage to the environment. They are generally made with tiny plastic components. Glitter is very bad in that it gets ultimately into the environment but is impossible to collect. My conscience bothers me using them.
Janice M I have my concerns as well when it comes to inhaling the fumes. I make sure to always wear a mask. It is important for us to think of these things and to use what we are comfortable with for sure.
Use biodegradable glitter. Not as shiny but safe for all of us, man and beasts.
