Hello hello, thanks for stopping by the description! Now I can tell you that this is based off my reworking of "The First Turnabout" for my swap AU with Edgeworth as a defense attorney and Phoenix as a prosecutor. So that's why Edgeworth isn't his usual game self in this, because I have him have a slightly different personality in the AU. Most text is verbatim from my written work, but some lines I altered to flow better in this sort of style. And since I have no clue how anyone gets custom images or characters onto this website, I just had to use the sprites of Edgeworth I had access to instead of trying to create a custom sprite with his changed design for my AU (If you're curious what said design is, it's a gray suit jacket which is buttoned on one side like Gregory's trench coat, a white-striped blue ascot, and grey dress pants). I got the character codes for Investigations Edgeworth, Shields, and Kay from a couple videos on the @debastiansebeste channel, so thanks to them for making those codes public for everyone to use! Just thought I'd credit where I found them.
I do not own any locations or characters shown in this video, Ace Attorney and its character are the creation and property of CAPCOM.

While I love this you should've used edgeworths theme from investigations rather that the cornered theme
Hm, perhaps. That may have been a better choice. I think I may have just been trying to mimic the music from the actual The First Turnabout (I can’t quite remember because it’s been awhile since I made this video), although in hindsight using Investigations music could’ve really given it the feel that it was Edgeworth and not Phoenix who was in court. I’m glad you enjoyed it, however!

imagine an alternate second case:
- Ray Shields is killed by Redd White
- Him and Kay Faraday are family friends, and were supposed to meet up (same as Mia and Maya obviously)
- Kay discoveres the body and is arrested by Detective Lang
- Prosecutor is Phoenix Wright
- Edgeworth defends/investigates with Kay
- Edgeworth wins the case and Kay becomes his assistant
the idea for the AU is honestly amazing, it's like Undertale and Underswap if you've heard of that
That…that is the most ingenious idea I have ever heard, holy crap. I love every aspect of that. Poor Shields though :(

- In the 3rd case Phoenix meets Maya
- They go through a similar arc as Edgeworth and Kay
- Instead of Little Thief, Maya channels the victim and some other people to find out the truth

Ooh, I really like this! I wonder if you’d do the first case Edgeworth would do time-wise? I believe it was one of the investigation games, or Terry Fawles’s case. Great work, though!
Huh, that’s a good question, actually. I sort of thought of it as he wouldn’t have become a lawyer as early as he had because he wouldn’t have had the influence of von Karma and probably would’ve been able to take it at his own pace. Thank you, though, I’m glad you enjoyed it! Especially considering this video was made before I really got the hang of the website used, haha.
So did Gregory still died in this AU? Or was it Phoenix who lost both of his parents? Because DL6 is like THE canon event.
Since this was based upon the au I’m writing, Gregory’s still alive, and there was a different event in Phoenix’s life that caused him to become a prosecutor. But since I’ve started extending this into a rewrite of the actual series, I’ll most likely be switching DL-6 to Phoenix instead if I ever get to Turnabout Goodbyes.
