I think the very fact that the story writers seem to be holding off on saying whether or not that is the case and making it a point to emphasize and focus on the fact that Herta and Dr. Primitive are emanators makes it make less sense for them to then reveal that its actually a common trait between geniuses later on, but that's just my opinion.

For example emanators of the Hunt are really strong in battle, we don't know if generals are emanators but I believe they aren't and only reason they are so strong is because they trained their whole life. It's like correlation does not mean causation. Similar for Erudition, being an emanator probably makes you extremely smart and as such you probably naturally become a member of genius society, but again just because you are a genius it does not mean you are an emanator. I just feel that becoming an emanator of Erudition will naturally make you a member of society. Herta and Dr. Primitive have 1 thing in common, and it's that we didn't see them, well recently Herta took interest in Amphorious and we actually got to see her, but before that there was like nothing, only her puppets, and same with Dr. Primitive, nothing except his monkeys. Also not sure if it's a parallel or how to explain it properly but I find it interesting that the only 2 emanators of Erudition have something with multiplication of them, like Herta has a lot of her puppets and Primitive has a lot of monekys, I just feel there is a connection and maybe a common theme in those emanators, if that's the case then people like Polka seem like reverse of that

It differs from Aeon to Aeon, so we cant really infer anything from the confirmed Emanators that we know of and apply it to other paths and speculate upon that. For example, we know so much about Acheron, and particularly how she became an Emanator of Nihility, and yet we can't use this knowledge to infer anything about how an Abundance emanator might arise, or even a Hunt emanator, etc. We have little foundations and convictions about what an emanator is and therefore we can't really speculate or make educated guesses unless we know more canon information.

These "blessings" come in the form of a spiritus that manifests when they use their respective powers (the lightning lord that Jing Yuan wields and the flying aureus that appears when Feixiao uses her ultimate). This seemingly implies that they are or atleast are similar to an emanator, since this is the most basic definition of an emanator given to us (the act of receiving power from an Aeon) since 1.0. However, since the term "Emanator" was never directly used to describe them, we have no confirmation if they indeed are considered ones themselves.
@@valerie_sees its also confusing cause its also stated that jing yuan (and fu xaun) were blessed by the erudition as well. i do think there may be something to gleam from acheron, something that i've wondered for a while. that being calling paths "PATHS" and it beind described as something you walk further down, and gain more power from... where eminators are someone the aeon pulled way ahead purposefully (in most cases), and an aeon just being the one at the end/creation of the path... then theoretically, as long as you walk the path far enough and fast enough you could become an eminator on your own, or potentially even overtake the aeon on their own path... which i find an interesting idea... if the path metaphor is more literal then you would expect. i fully expect it to be the case since acheron's goal with how it was described and her literally saying she wants to "reach the nihility's end" i think walking a path to the point you surpass it may not only be possible, but i think we may eventually see a character do it.

Mybe Polka is also one (at Least from the ones that still live and we know) but Scrullum and Steve only seems to be Members of the GS. If those two (Scrullum and Steve) would be Emenators i think Hoyo would allready told us so.

I still feel as apathetic towards Tingyun now as I was during her "death", she continues to be a character I don't really know and will stay that way until we actually progress with this marshall/godslayer plotline. She should have gotten her own character quest

They believe Jingyuan is an Emanator even Feixiao and all the followers of Fuli when it's not explicitly confirmed. This run counters to what Acheron said: "Individuals who can tamper with the power of paths are few and far between" which I believe references Emanators. Also, now that The Herta's kit is out -an Emanator of Erudition, similar to Acheron's, she needs one or two other Erudition units to get the max out of her kit.
I am not 100% confident but I don't think Feixiao is an Emanator. She got the gaze/attention of the Aeon of The Hunt but certain individuals did that as well. Herta got the attention of 4 Aeons I think but she's not their Emanator. The same is true for the Trailblazer.
the thing is that Black Swan says "when Emanators clash that's what happens" referring to Septimus(who is Emanator of Harmony Dominicus transformed by Order's power) and either to Jingyuan or the Lightning lord. so either Jingyuan or the Lightning lord is an Emanator and at that point even if it's LL it doesn't matter because JY controls it so he is kind of the Emanator for all intents and purposes
Sure but a few things It's stated somewhere in the game that all memokeepers are emanators of the Remembrance. The Needs X (1-2+)characters of X path for bonus (aka the Acheron buff) isn't on all emenators because Sunday doesn't have it in his and we KNOW he is an emanator

If thats not a satisfactory answer then just remember that both LL and Dominus, are divine creations by their respective aeons, something directly created, so they’ll have strong relations and therefore power of their aeons. Basically the power of an emanator are in those divine gifts and that’s it, if they became emanators just because they can use these gifts would mean Fu xuan is an emanator of erudition as her third eye is a gift from Nous.

The issue is we don’t know the specifics of what an emanator is. How much power does one get? Does it vary per emanator? Is it a case of the elation emanator Boothill met or are they always like Acheron? For all we know Chadwick may be an emanator but on the lower rung of their group. Weak by emanator standards but a monster from a pathstriders viewpoint. Omen Vanguards are seen as gods by some worlds visited by them and even they aren’t seen always emanators. Aeons and Emanators are still very vague even in the HSR universe. We don’t know how Aeons operate on choosing emanators (except IX as they do not care to give out powers from the path of Nihility)

Other emanators like Rubert has insane lvls of strength not in its physical capabilities but with its mind and mechanical prowess ofc. Ig we could use what we know of the lord ravagers apart from phantylia who is strong but the best benchmark imo.
@ the issue with using other emanators as benchmarks is that we don’t know how much power Emanators are given access to. It could be the same through out or varied per Aeon. While using other emanators may be good for now, we’d need to first know what the other emanators of a path are like to see if it’s a good metric to use.
This story has been introduced since 1.0 and we have gotten such little progress for such a long time. I feel like the story of Otto, sorry Luocha, Jingliu and Ruan Mei will be a very slow burn.
One thing I'm curious about is Welt has never met Luocha directly right? I know he had a flashback about Void Archives way back when he was investigating him in Luocha's silly story quest. I'm still quite iffy whether Luocha is actually Void Archives, but now I'm 75% sure that he is actually just Void Archives. That and they pretty much confirmed him with name drops in the 2.7 main event quest. However his goals still remains murky, like why rescue Tingyun? and how was he coincidentally there in the right time in the right place to save her? How does he have Abundance powers? With whom does he align with? And how the hell did he negotiated with Ruan Mei to convince her to let him take a bloody Aeon fragment to the Xianzhou of all places?? Are they trying to revive Tazzyronth via the Abundance plague marks?
I do have something to speculate, since Ruan Mei wants to become an aeon and Luocha had remains of tayzzyronth the propagation which she wishes to study. What if she becomes an aeon of propagation? It has never been explicitly stated that you cannot inherit the title of a deceased aeon. Mind you the aeons are basically philosophical concepts manifested in sort of higher dimension. Ruan Mei becoming an aeon of propagation also makes sense because life needs to propagate for growth. As for Polka thing is propagation really confined to mindless reproduction? Tayzzyronth was a mindless beast unlike Ruan Mei maybe she could interpret the path in her own way if she becomes an aeon.
Aeons are followers of a path they currently or used to preside over; the extreme of the belief. Tazzyronth was the last of their species and ascended to Aeon hood to combat that. Same with Nanook as before they became an Aeon they were a mortal. Same with Lan. Nous was an ordinary supercomputer that gained sentience and became an Aeon.

@Undead_Grius VA can change forms but aside from that we don’t know much at all when regarding VA in the HSR universe. HI3 is abundant with VA info.
