Wonderfull ride , thanks . Nice to see all these pieces of art , bridges and tunnels all made more than a century ago with a lot of work and no or about machinery.
This was such a cool ride, loved the interior of the engineer's cabin. Real piece of history. Also enjoy the fabulous Swiss countryside , as always a beautiful treat. Thank you for sharing your rides and stay safe.
Well, that was marvellous. Thanks to Paolo for two things especially: full headlights in the tunnels; and tooting that old-fashioned whistle, (I bet you enjoyed it). It's also the first time I've heard a Swiss railway whistle/horn. And, the only time I'll be in the belly of a crocodile. Thanks heaps lorilocks777 for yet another great video.
That was awesome. Great to see a Crocodile running. I love the contrast between the near silent EMU and the great noises from the Crocodile. And, as always, great scenery on the RhB. Thanks!
Wow! Fabulous filming in wonderful settings. Great contrast between old and new. Super to see all the detail of points/switches on these journeys. The engineers building the line achieved so much.
Every time I watch these videos. I feel good! Beautiful scenery in a beautiful country! With for our greatest pleasure contemporary trains at the height and the historic locomotive. What happiness! A big thank you, it’s almost rail therapy.
Thank you for another lovely video of yours. I enjoyed the round trip very much, although I have to admit that I enjoyed the return trip more. The slow movement of the train allowed me to absorb more of the scenery. The mountains, the flat meadows, the bridges, the tunnels, and the river added richness to this video. I am appreciative and thankful for this video.
Ah, a nice relaxing ride through Switzerland and its beautiful countryside. Couldn't have asked for more. Felt like we were part of history when we undertook the return journey on the historic locomotive with its train carriages. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for this ride to you an Paolo! This was amazing, the experience on the nostalgic train something special, i hope they will not replace them totally and save those special rides. The views breathtaking! Thank to you we can dream to travel in these hard times
Until now I didn’t quite 'get' how loud the old electric trains could be in comparison to the beautiful, quiet new streamlined trains. I bet if you brought a train fan from the past forward to today and showed them a typical RhB train they'd fall in love on the spot. Also, the scenery is gorgeous but I can't be the only one who prefers the engineering! All these bridges, tunnels, and galleries; it just floors me how precise Swiss engineering is.
Lovely video great idea to share rides from the newest and the oldest. I somehow prefer the older coaches since their windows open. Most of the newer coaches and EMUs have bigger glass windows but it becomes difficult to take photographs through them. The best moment according to me was when the Post Bus and your Crocodile honked at each other :)
SWITZERLAND 🇨🇭 Is a BEAUTIFUL 🙃🙃🙃 COUNTRY 🚂 FABOULOUS RAILWAY 🇨🇭 SCENE 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝 in The BEST 👑 COUNTRY 🇨🇭 of the WORLD 🌍 THANKS for VIDEO 👏👏👏👏👏 SUPER JOB !!! 👍
Extremely beautiful and interesting video. The best part of all was after about 58.m 20s, when we got glimpses of the spectacular curved Landwasser viaduct on the Filisur-Chur line.
Thanks for such a great video. I have travelled up and down the line several times behind the Crocodile and more modern traction. Also done a lot of photography/videography from the line side so it is fascinating to see it from the driver’s perspective. Such a beautiful area, only wish travel there was possible at the moment.
What a wonderful view over the nose of the Croc! In 2017 I visited Switzerland and did the walk from Davos Wiesen down to the Landwasser Viaduct and then up to Fillisur, a really spectacular walk. What is that unusual mechanical signal at the end of the Wiesen Viaduct at 54:32?
Beautiful contrast of the insane acceleration of the Capricorn and the deliberate slow run with the Croc - excellent idea of the RhB to make the most of the highlights like that - at around 59:00 is that section slow for the best view of the Landwasser Viaduct? Also there seems to be a restriction on access to the Wiesen Viaduct on foot, yet I've seen clips of Marathon events using it and there are guys taking pictures from it here - what's the general policy? Nice touch also that the drivers of the postbus from Lenzerheide and the Croc salute eachother - all elements of the one travel system working together. Overall a stunning work. Thank you Paolo and Lorirocks777 \m/
26:10 It was easy to tell those people were railfans, given the amount of drool that had accumulated on the platform. Contactors, copper wire, grid resistors, and traction motors: It's a wonder to think the crocodile was ever able to operate at all after being erected without a single drop of silicon.

Danke für's Mitnehmen. War eine sehr schöne Hin- und Rückfahrt.
A fantastic film for all of us trainlovers! Paolo is Best!

Another great video! Good to see the heritage loco still running!
Amazing view! Switzerland is so beautiful 👍🏻
Beautiful Swiss countryside view from locomotive cab, and I can even watch at home! Thank you so much for sharing!
This most adventurous route till I have been watching. Lots of love from Indian railfan
This was such a cool ride, loved the interior of the engineer's cabin. Real piece of history. Also enjoy the fabulous Swiss countryside , as always a beautiful treat. Thank you for sharing your rides and stay safe.
A stunning comparison of ‘now’ with ‘then’. Excellent weather and beautiful sunlight. Lifts my spirits! Peter

Great video! What an ancient cab! Amazing it has kept going for so long! And, as usual, the scenery is so breathtaking! Thanks for this one!
Wow! Fabulous filming in wonderful settings. Great contrast between old and new. Super to see all the detail of points/switches on these journeys. The engineers building the line achieved so much.
Good Job you found something that is older than me. Great Video.
these programs are so beautiful , thank you paolo foe sharing .
What an incredible video, the wonderful contrast between the new and the old along with the beautiful scenery.

Thank you. Your comments are always a pleasure to read :-)
Excellent cab ride, The grades were certainly steep but the scenery was great.
Your cab ride videos are always so good, that now, when I see a new one available, I give it a thumbs up "like", even before watching it.
Thanks for a wonderful scenic ride. Most enjoyable. Switzerland is a beautiful country.
Lovely.Pity we can't smell the mountian air and the burning electrical contacts...
ganz tolle Fahrten, was für eine super schöne Kulisse
Hallo lorirocks777 / Hallo Paolo - da fällt mir nur noch ein: PERFEKT!!! Ein Super-Dankeschön aus Rapperswil

Moderne Scheibenbremsen sind eine Gnade! 😁

The Best travel, Hi from Brasil. Ottimo lavoro Paolo
Grazie!

The new train has still got some windows to open!
Thank you for a wonderful video. This truly is a beautiful part of the world. Best wishes from Andre and Lola Engelbrecht in South Africa.
I note the on-board announcements are in German, English and Italian, but Swiss-Rumantsch isn't included.
👌ma che bel video! Specialmente le manovre a Davos.👌
Wooow! Fantastic video, many thanks for you and Paolo! Greatings from Portugal!

Habe lange auf diese Strecke gewartet! Sehr cool!
Great combination, film quality is fantastic.
Many thanks!
Aha! Dees is da, da wo's nach Davos geht.😀
Great video and nice edited! Thanks to Paolo and you! PS..The vaccum brake is working overtime on the steep descent grades..heheh
Luscious. That's what i'm talking about. The mountains! I also like tunnels. :v
SWITZERLAND 🇨🇭 Is a BEAUTIFUL 🙃🙃🙃 COUNTRY 🚂 FABOULOUS RAILWAY 🇨🇭 SCENE 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝 in The BEST 👑 COUNTRY 🇨🇭 of the WORLD 🌍 THANKS for VIDEO 👏👏👏👏👏 SUPER JOB !!! 👍
I was disappointed that at the end of the run you didn't video from the platform. It is rare to see the crocodiles rods in motion.
Very nice video. The old crocodile stil works, I doubt if the new Capricorn last as long as the Crocodile !
Thank you Paolo
Veľmi prekrásne natočené video 😃😃😃😃.
Perfektné super 😃😃😃😃.
Srdečne pozdravujem zo Slovenska 😃😃😃😃.

Very very Beautiful. Thanks
Only can say. Hurra for Paolo!!!
Congratulations on your video, hugs from Brazil.
Brilliant journey ! I travelled on this train last year in an open carriage, going through the tunnels was fantastic ! ( and cold )
Thanks for such a great video. I have travelled up and down the line several times behind the Crocodile and more modern traction. Amazing !!! Thank you.
Congratulations on your excellent video - that very high viaduct looked terrific - how on earth was that constructed?
Search Richard Coray on google!
I hope to see new crocodile and its interior in a future video.
Good drive ❤️🌷👌and God bless you 🙏
Thanks for amazing video
Wonderful video and scenery, thank you. Noticed the krokodil used a lot of air coming downgrade - without regenerative braking?
The gradient is too high for the electric brake alone.
Espetacular excelente lindo! 🇧🇷❤👍
Like a dream in this time of prohibitions...
One of my favorite trip by railway !!!! Thanks a lot
Hermosos paisajes !!!! . Un saludo desde Argentina 🇦🇷
Shame there wasn't any camera views 90 degrees to the left and right on the nostalgic train....
Beautiful contrast of the insane acceleration of the Capricorn and the deliberate slow run with the Croc - excellent idea of the RhB to make the most of the highlights like that - at around 59:00 is that section slow for the best view of the Landwasser Viaduct?

That magnificent locomotive looks properly Steampunk.
35:48 that was great!!!
