I’m one of those FromSoft fans who’s in it for the exploration, not the bosses. So to hear how big a role exploration plays in Elden Ring is so fraking exciting!
NGL I prefer a more linear type like dark souls 3. That way you know where you (at least somewhat) should be going. I've played 2 hours now, and I'm not a fan of doubting where I should be going. The bosses are going to have an order in which you should complete them, based on your level. For instance the first boss I ran in to was that guy with the cane pewds decided to not go back to. It feels like I'm much too weak to face him...
