That "hand warmer" is a cigarette case and lighter. The light comes out to refill with fluid. My wife is digging your finds
I believe that is correct!
1826 the photo was invented wonder what those numbers really mean , cool channel im sold haha
Maybe it was the year that company was founded? I'm not sure, but you are correct on the photograph not being invented yet.
wasnt being that guy lol but just got me curious on what they might mean and im guessing your a fellow Michigander , im up here in Algonac
To late... you're that guy lol kidding.
Silver case looks like a cigarette case and lighter.
Thanks, i think you're right
The wooden toys are cool I like the old 70s toys
They are neat for sure.
Those wooden blocks could go for a little bit of money
Such a great series of videos, thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next!
Thanks Jeremy, glad you are enjoying them.
I love vintage toys and I’m 9
Awesome.
If I could I would love some of those toys that u don’t need for free lol
Cool!
Thanks!
Am I the only one slightly disturbed by the truck with 666 on the side being full of "bodies"?
Nope...lol
This box is from the '40s. Scottie dogs were popular because President Roosevelt (FDR) had Scotties.
Cool, thanks for the info
super cool
Thanks
loving this series except im sneezing like crazy just watching lol
LOL, yeah it was pretty dusty in there.
Bunny Bread! My dad talks about that all the time. There was a bunny bread plant up in Marquette Michigan back in the day. What a cool relic!
So cool!
Some of the larger wooden cars definitely appear to be pinewood derby models. Nice finds!
Thanks for the info!
Shovel. Did. You. Find. A. Pail. 2. Match. It. 🐤
I think the metal soldier is made of lead my neighbor has some of them
Yeah, it's definitely not tin like I said in the video. Lead or iron something heavier than tin for sure.
Did you say that pic was from 1652?
I just rewatched it and I did, I must have misread something or misspoke I don't think photography existed in the 1600s....
@@SargeRedsVintageToys Yeah. Photography didn't really start till about 1860, hence our oldest photos being mostly civil war. The older photos in that box look to be 1880's and after. .
@@guitarandstuff3513 I think I was reading the date on the paper frame for the company... whoops :)
@@SargeRedsVintageToys Did you find any magic tricks in either this house or that novelty shop?
@@guitarandstuff3513 I don't believe so.
Could. The. Ship. Bee. Fisher. Price. 🌻
The unidentified object looks like a cigarette holder
You might be right, I'll have to take a closer look.
I would have loved to have seen the date on the newspapers those pictures were packed it. Just out of curiosity.
That's what I was thinking, the news print is much more interesting than the photos. My grandfather sided the outside of his garage in newspaper printing plates, I used to try to read them when I was a kid.
Meyers was a jewelry store.
Cool, thanks for the info😀
I always think that someone uses those old cardboard boxes as cat liter boxes.
I don't like the way they smell, and i've found bugs in them so they gross me out ;)
The 666 truck is a firetruck
What were you asking on the #22 race car @4:25
you any idea how much them wooden toys are worth
Do you have some crash up derby cars
I don't think so.
My dad showed me a commercial on them and now I want to get some there just so darn expensive
nope, actually its not the mark of the beast like christians claim it is
Auburn. Toys. Were. Rubber. ⛰️
Cool, thanks for the intel.
