You might want to consider keeping that old kirby vacuum. Looks like 50s era. My brother has one made in 1959 that he fully refurbished/restored and uses it regularly to vaccuum the floors. Made better than any of that plastic stuff thats bought in stores today. In fact, I heard a vacuum repair shop owner say that those old machines are built to last a lifetime (as long as the bearings are replaced every so often).
I should have held onto it but sadly I left it behind... I was running out of space :(

That stripey Simpson's bag is straight out of my Montreal-area childhood. Simpson's department stores in Montreal closed soon after the Christmas 1989 shopping season, if I remember correctly.

I've been binging this playlist, and it is a lot of fun. But, you are driving me crazy! Taking good care of a Gold Key comic, but throwing stuff on top of a $100 Francie outfit!!!!! Ugh! Girls this have value too.
Glad you are enjoying the videos, mostly 😀 I'm always learning values on items, especially dolls. I didn't realize Francie outfits were $$ I'll def keep that in mind, oh and diapers....who knew lol
@@SargeRedsVintageToys I know you can't know everything about everything. But look up diapers. There is crazy money in those if you find the right ones.
Just because its not cool to you dont mean its not worth money or wont be to someone else but u do get there was such of amount of amazing finds you couldnt take it all even the amount of 60s and 70s stuff was cool which is what im more into too great videos and find
agreed, I sell a lot of stuff that I don't find super interesting. I try to carry stuff for everyone. If I only sold stuff I liked I would guess I would go out of business pretty quick.

My husband and I got engaged on the River Walk bridge 10 years ago and we enjoyed going to the old fartsy NYE "gala." Learned to polka with an old guy!

I would love to know what they paid for the lot. I am very jealous not only for the finds but love digging and picking for stuff but good for them finding that place.

We finished going through it last week, I still have a ton to go through. There are boxes of stuff that I still haven't gone through that my buddies were packing up. The adventure continues lol
