A Rat Creek (Goose River) Aerial Adventure - Northern Manitoba Canada

I finally have a day without rain and a time that allowed me to fly my drone. I went to my happy place called locally "Rat Creek" but it is officially known as the Goose River. This river flows from Athapapuskow Lake into Goose Lake and eventually winds up in the Saskatchewan River by The Pas Manitoba. The river has been for a few summers very low and with the rain we have had here in Cranberry Portage since the mid May time frame it has helped to raise the water levels of the lakes and river systems further north of "Rat Creek".
We are very thankful for the rain we have received as in May we had to evacuate due to a massive 36,000 hectare forest fire which luckily avoided our town. It was around 1 to 1.5 km from our town and moving fast. There will be a video of the burnt fire area after the provincial government has deemed the fire out. It is still considered an active fire but it is under control and the hotspot checks for it have lessened each day. I thank you for watching.
