Even though they claim their D stats were against teams from the west, they did hold the #1 offense in the BIG to 13 points. Maryland
Coach Rhule has taken control of this football program from top to bottom. He's the CEO coach we've needed. Fans are optimistic and are sipping the Kool aid. Soon we'll be chugging it! GBR
It's gotta be tough to not go bottoms up with the big red Kool Aid this offseason! Things looking good for the Huskers
5 defensive starters were held out.
Exactly
Closer to 10.
Really doesn’t matter. It was clear that there was a reason he was rated 5 stars. It’s his job and it’s not even close.
@nateasch7550 he certainly did everything asked of him.
Nebraska will win at Iowa and they will beat Wisconsin in Lincoln. The losses are at Ohio State and at USC. All the rest of the games will either have Nebraska favored or within 3-5 points if they are an underdog. The defense will be better. The offensive line will be better and seasoned. The special teams will be better. The quarterback play will be light years better. We should beat Colorado at night in Lincoln.
Should be a really good season for the Huskers
Key word "should" haha
USC has proved nothing they have zero defense
@@ThreeTechPod you could be right - speculating on what will happen is dangerous (in terms of being wrong) no matter your prediction. Wish there was an easy way to have everyone reappear together say around Dec. 15 2024 and hear what everyone has to say about what actually happened... Who is your team? What team's kool-aid are you drinking? You obviously love the sport. That is what this all about.
Naw, won't happen.
@@stephenlang7870possible it can. Teams don’t suck forever. Nebraska is trending up
Look for 8 wins is my guess! GO BIIIIIIIGGGGGGG REEEEEDDDDD! GBR!
0:42 He decommitted from 2 schools not 7…
Huskers were 5-7 last year. What would the record have been with one healthy competent QB, healthy wide receivers and O linemen? Their offense was hamstrung all year. They couldn't pass worth a hoot. Teams stacked the box to prevent the run and they still were top three in the Big Ten in rushing offense. Except for the Michigan game (national champion) and the Colorado game (multiple turnovers by the QB giving them short field and keeping our defense on the field too long) we were close in all the other games (the story of our teams the last 5 years).
And with that many close games, the law of averages thinks a bunch of those should flip this year. It helps having a much better QB exiting the spring
What would every teams record be if they had better players?
@@stephenlang7870 We only needed a better player at one position (QB) to get one more win. Nearly every other player on the offense had season ending injuries.
I was never sold on nebraska since bo polini and sue.
The big 10 is great at running the ball, nebraska allowed under 2 ypc last year.
Im buying nebraska this year. The schedule not that tough. Having a competent QB is going to make everything better.
Rember because the offense was so bad they put that defense in a really tough spot, just like they did in 2022.
Hopefully the offense can be good enough to not have to strain the defense too bad. If they can keep the ball and score some points, watch out!
who is polini and sue? you idiot, LOL.
*Adrian Martinez lol. As a Nebraska fan, it happens. 😂
We regret the error lol. Although by the end I think a lot of people wanted to forget him
Look fellas, Calibrasken USC N their house means way more to me as Whisky or Iowa...Man I want to take it to em...ALL N
If Nebraska eliminated turnovers, makes less special teams mistakes, and defense stays as good. They could have a very good season. The 2 new receivers and finally having an “older” offensive line. Schedule is favorable. SHOULD start 6-1 or 7-0
Experience up front is always a big deal. Year 2 for rhule is always a big step forward, he should have nebraska playing some good ball
12-0 baby. F***ING GO BIG RED!!!!!!
LOVE the confidence (probably can't go with you on the 12-0 but that's alright lol)
Hardware? Funny how you don’t consider a bowl game hardware or the Nebraska Iowa game?
11th in total defense first in turnovers. How does this happen.
Man if I knew the answer to that I'd have a lot more money in my bank account haha
16 of 22 against our 3rd string defense.
GBR!!
Should be a fun year!
Just 14 points better offense from last year, this team tough to beat. Defense will be salty.
If the offense is even just average, watch out!
Talk is cheap, BS is deep. No O&D line you’ll have nothing again…….
Who do you think the likely losses are for Nebraska this year (also we're not nebraska homers, just giving our take)
@@ThreeTechPod Colorado, Purdue, Ohio St, UCLA, USC, Wisconsin, Iowa and I’m hoping I’m dead wrong…
He was throwing against predominately 2nd and 3rd string. And there was no hitting qbs. All 3 qbs have potential, no argument, im waiting to see the product on the field. That bill of goods is sketchy right now.
Oh you for sure can't take it as a given, but the kid looks as good as any have for the Huskers in a long time
He’s still build different
Nebraska misses a bowl again. 5-7 again.
You’re high
