New mic :) You guys liked the quiz part in the awareness and decision making video. So I have made a similar thing at the end of this video. Hope you enjoyed
The quiz part was awesome it helped to memorize everything again at the end, more videos of this kind please (interceptions, marking or even something collective like pressing the opponent's build up) edit: oh and check the description its from your last video
@@mitsojr great to hear that, could you also analyze one of the recent games of the africa cup/do tactical previews (if you have the footage of course)?
Great video, also great how you used robertson as an example really often because he is one of the best in the game when it comes to the points you showed in this video. A small tip for players: if you are approaching the oppositon's attacker in order to contain him, don't approach too fast if he is running and keep distance at the beginning. Otherwise he will just pass you with ease
Btw Thnx for this greatly helpful vid that i will use for the new season. Also i really like the concept of doing a guessing game at the end it makes it very interactive and improves the satisfaction of our vids.
Contain or Tackle: Contain when you are in a 1v1 situation in position, especially when there is a lot of space behind you that your opponent can exploit. Make sure you stay close to the opponent and be ready for any sudden changes in direction Tackle if you are in a 2v1 and when they are trapped in the corner. When you are out if position and your teammates are not in a defensive position go for the tackle and make sure you do the beat you can to win possession.
Very good video. Your comments when there is only text on the screen are better with your speech. And the exercises at the end are educational, I like them.
Very very good content im a right back so this is very important for me. if your editing was a bit better your channel would be blowing up. Btw, could you make a video on how to be a better centre back? thank you!
Nice video! In the last quiz, wasn't he already at the edge of the pitch? I mean the side edge. Also do you have an explanation for overlap and underlap?
When he is near the end line only, because even if he is near the side line, if you failed the tackle the opposition might still be able to keep possession. But when he is near the end line, there is a high probability of getting a corner kick or a throw in if you failed the tackle.
How do I take all this in? I want to use this in my game but there’s too many things to think about, should just watching it a few times get into my sub conscious so I do them without thinking? Someone explain please

Maybe I would do an analysis about the final, not sure though. I'll try my best
For others too It helps if u are umware when to tackle always check ur shoulder to see the clues of open space,or for an extra man.
God bless
Yes exactly, you need to be aware of what happens around you.

This vid extremely simplified:
Tackle:ball far from attacker, u are 2v1 vs enemy
Contain:many space behind u, opponent have close control

Nice video!

Also do you have an explanation for overlap and underlap?
Please make more videos on defense
you're amazing man
Thank you!
What do you mean by forcing the opposition to the edge of the pitch? Does that mean go for the tackle when opposition is at the end line and sideline
When he is near the end line only, because even if he is near the side line, if you failed the tackle the opposition might still be able to keep possession. But when he is near the end line, there is a high probability of getting a corner kick or a throw in if you failed the tackle.
MitsoJR ah I see, thank you.
So should I tackle if the oppisition is near the line?
How do I take all this in? I want to use this in my game but there’s too many things to think about, should just watching it a few times get into my sub conscious so I do them without thinking? Someone explain please
Yes exactly that.
