shoutout to all my fullbacks in high school and college. Best wishes to a good season!
Yh🥳
Jacob Wilbeck thanks to much i need it, i’m kinda short so i don’t get noticed by many coaches
Jacob Wilbeck salute bro we are trying our best
Fullback in my brain
Ayy ty bruh
My coach put me in as a right back after ours got injured and we had no subs (i play as a striker) and i thought it was going to be boring but honestly it was pretty fun. Shutting down the opposition and then taking the ball up the field for the cross was enjoyable. Def wouldn’t mind playing it again.
Baaaam!
Yh i used to play a cdm cm but now i play RB its a very underrated position
It’s a great position as long as you don’t have e retarded winger in front of you that makes your life harder then it should be
@Chris Mascarenhas 😂them ones u need to tell him.
@Chris Mascarenhas 😂 why not
Playing as a winger in my early years of football, I developed to be a Full back, participating in both defense and attack. I knew a lot before this video, this was a good video to watch, hopefully, I can use this on the pitch. I am a fullback myself, playing on both wings. Keep on this content, very good.
@Eddie bostrom that’s literally what happened to me I started out at winger now I play both sides of defence and sometimes still play winger but more defence
Same
I was always a winger or striker up until this season. My coach decided to start me at left back in our second game of the season because he liked how defensively responsible I was as a winger when we didn't have possession. I found this video and watched it to better understand my new position. I have to say, I never imagined I would adapt to my new position so quickly. It's almost as if I should have been playing left back all along. My coach praised my ability to intercept passes and win possession back. I owe a lot of it to this video and its great analysis. I even rewatch this video periodically to further fine tune anything.
I also like men
the attacking advice is amazing and the defensive positioning shown in this was goooooodddddd.
Good*

moreno should be watching this
haha
Mohamed Ahsanullah and Mustafi
@@thenerdygamer994 mustafi isn't a fullback
Great video but could you make a video on decision making(like when to dribble and when to pass) or awareness(what to look for at the pitch) plz
Well my coach always says: use dribbling only when you can't pass to a teammate. So now as a fullback i only dribble when i can't pass and i try to create some space.
You can’t just have a this is when you dribble this is when you pass kind of philosophy, you have to react to your surroundings and as you gain experience these decisions will come naturally to you
what you just wrote is the difference between a football player and a football player
Yes I find this is the most difficult part of being a player is making the correct decision.
@@cristiannegrean5311 Generally you dribble when no one is marking you, once you draw a defender you look for a pass. If you are a forward player you can take more chances with dribbling to make scoring opportunities. On defense it is better to play more conservatively.
As a LB this was very useful
I'm a RB
Abishack Boiywo same
I have just started playing there and this was a huge help

Shoutout to all my bois in the LB postion
I was a winger but as our team signed many players I dropped into left back. As a winger I played right wing so this was very different. First game in left back I managed to score 2 goals from running up field with pace. Such a fun position, I now am getting trials playing in LB and am trying to go pro. 100 percent try out this position if ur confident in defence
Ι was playing at CDM or CM but the role there was really really competitive after many better players came to the team. My form there dropped and i felt horrible. Thankfully one day in training my coach played me at RB and I was class. My confidence now is over the moon after i scored a banger yesterday in a friendly. Can't wait for the season to start
have a game on friday and i play left back , so this helps a lot , for all my fellow hs players good luck and make it a amazing season
Good luck!
I cannot understand all English but l know great video!!!
The helps me a lot
Thank you. in Japan
As a right full back that was very helpful. I usually try to base my game off of the Liverpool fullbacks Trent and Robertson. Brilliant video👍
The background music is so depressing 😂
Ya😂😂🤣
sounds like a death scene in a movie😂
Yeah lmao
What name music????
@Arsalaan Shahryar what name music??
My coach focuses on getting it out to the wing so as a full back I'm pretty important, I made a couple mistakes 2 games ago and got dropped, then I watched this video and the other day I got an assist and a clean sheet so thank you!
That's awesome! Keep it up
@@mitsojr thank you 😄
Amazing video!! Fullbacks play a huge role for today’s football and should get the same amount of credit as fowards and midfielders
Great video! My son just got moved to RB and I found this video to show him. Thank you
Thanks. I'm really happy that it helped you :)
I always wanted to be a Winger. Unfortunately I never had such talent for the position, but I had some really good tackling
So I dropped myself back into the fill back position and I’ve got to say...best move I’ve ever made. Mixing attack with defence has brought out the best in me
Great vid, watching Trent and Robbo makes me want to improve as a fullback all the time. A video on how to play as a right footed left back could be useful, they seem to becoming more common in today’s game
ur ryt
Finally this video is out, I've been waiting .. You nailed it, great video as usual
This video helped me a lot last season….i still come to this video before every match to relearn and visualise….great video!! All the best to everyone starting their season
im playing as a fullback (LB) and i needed this my decision making is quite bad lol this will help me thanks great vid!
First year as fullback, used to play CB or CM been doing good but it’s always good to try and learn something new
For all my life I’ve played rw or lw. But I was put at right back because of my pace to shut down the other teams fast attack, and it was fantastic! I really have found my soul position and this video helped me understand the tactical bit of it. Thanks for the help!
I'm really happy you found this helpful. Good luck, hope you reach your dreams :)
Excactly same with me
I wish subs were proportional to how informative youtube vids are nowadays. Real good job man, btw I'm trying out as Right Back in Feb. but the video pretty much summed up the majority of my questions.
I play RB and there is only one other RB in my age group.
Thanks to this video, he wont be a single problem to me!
Thanks mate.
Thanks for this helpful video! I'm going to be starting to really commit to being a left-back or a right-back because I've never really had a position for myself. I've always just been anything I was asked! This was a very helpful video! Thanks Mitso!
One of the only videos which tells both about attacking and defending
Thanks for the advice bro, I'm gonna play tomorrow and I'll try to use your tactics 👍thanks again
Thank you for the video👍 this really help me to improve as a LB/RB
thank you for this, i am a right back

Very useful as I’m a lb on trial with Chelsea thanks for the video👍
Good luck bro, thanks
Goodluck
Love your work. Easy to watch and great examples. Been getting back into footy over the past year as a full-back (used to be a keeper in school), this video was my first point of reference. A really fun position to play in, and recently been playing as a winger too. Keep em' coming! Love from UK.
Thanks for the help I needed some help on a RB and when to overlap or cross the ball
As someone who played fullback for 5 years and won multiple state titles and regional titles for high school/club my best tip is to be patient. You dont have to take every ball that comes your way just make the opposition go back, oh and please dont stab for the ball. I was never the biggest kid or the fastest but i was smart with the way i played and that helps SO MUCH.
No doubt the best tactical video ever
Thank you!
No thank you
thanks man for the great tutorial. no BS straight to the point. this was helpful.👍
Damn this is in a lot of detail ty man. Also could u send a link to arsenal 😂🤦🏽♂️
Arsenal : 1000 Things To Avoid When Play As A Fullback! Tips To Be A Successful Fullback
This video really helped because I have a trial for academy as a RB so I’ve been searching for tips and it really helped thanks 😊
Good luck
Thanks
How was trial?
I’m a former Handball keeper who started playing Football. My coach started to train me as a center back, but then meant I’m really agile and fast... so he decided to let me play as a LB and I’m really enjoying it !
I just joined a new club and got put as a full back when I never played there in my life. These videos can be helpful to me. Cheers!
The best one so far✊🏿🥰
Thanks for the tips, I’ll try to do it at the next game
Thank you this is helpful I started as a winger then transitioned to a wing back but I am now a out and out fullback
Took some advices from here. Hope it will help me on the next match.
I am an attacker but actually I love playing the left back position - but only if I am playing with fellow footballers who are competent with the ball. As a full back, you are in effect another wing-attacker if your team mates know how to bring you into the game.
Very helpful video this video helped me a lot understanding more parts about the defensive game as a LB
That’s what i really wanted to watch thx budy
Helped me increase my performance as left back! Thank you! Amazing video !
I'm really happy that you found this helpful. Thanks for your support :)
I play at lb or rb. In 2022 I was always on bench, so I started to train more and more, so in 2023 we had 9 match, and I always started. So train and hardwork even everyone calls you shit.
as a lb watching this right before a game it is very useful 👍
This video helped me a lot to improve my game thank you
Thanks for this video man... I am a right back

Liked for the smooth intro
Great video! I play left back and this helped me a lot
I love how everything was explained
I have played for the last 3 years as a full back, but i play also as a winger. When i was younger i used to hate the Fb, but as the years are passing i found out i love this position. When you get used to it it's amazingly surprising in how many situations you participate in the game...
Thanks for these very helpful advice. That was great video
Amazing vid tbh very in depth analysis
Thank you!
The video was based only on Robertson a Left Back and I’m a Right Back but it did explain some things that weren’t clear to me and somethings I needed more enlightenment on. Love it😘
I am a full back and I think this video is very useful for wingers because they can see how a FB play
I prefer playing as a winger but lately my coach started playing me at fullback so I cope with it
Good luck!
Same here.

Shout-out to all the fullbacks who are 30+ years old learning to play for the first time (like me).
This video upgrades me as RB !! Thank you so much !!
Good video couldn’t find any better because this vid shows the professional football players. In tutorial for defending they show how to defend and makes the attackers not do anything at all
Great analysis 🙌
That s very very very lucrative and professional video
Well done
Very helpful! I watch this before big games just to remind myself of the positioning basics
One of the best vids I've seen in a while
Thank you!

Great video with helpful tips and visualization
Thank you
Thank you very much!
Since this season my coach just changed my position from winger to full back, before matches I’m very nervous because of the pressure by my coach, but 3 weeks ago I watched this video, and I played much more comfortable!!!
Unfortunately I went in Quarantine, and now I m nervous again because of a match tomorrow, I hope the best.
Thank sou
thanks man, just starting my first season as lb, previously playing as lw, this is going to help me so much, great vid
Best of luck to everyone , we got this

I just finished watching the video and this is gonna help so much I’m a right foot LB because I want to get better at left and I always freeze in those attacking situations especially or I cross to no one so this will help a lot thank you.
Great vid best defensive vid i have seen
I have trials Monday 9th September and it's currently the 5th I play right back I will use these tips in my trials
Good luck!
Thank you I am known for my hothead and rash challenges this helps so much as I don’t get taught anything at training

Thank you... Good luck :)
@@mitsojr thank u :)
It is a very good video man, congratulations :)
Trying to play fifa with little football knowledge. This helps a lot! (I can’t stand not knowing the fundamentals of the sport I’m trying)
Been playing as a right back. love it but after i watched this video i feel that i will do better in the upcoming matches and in training
Good luck!
Great video, very informative and had some unique tips
Thanks bro :)

This is very useful, thanks lad 🙏🏼
Bro great analysis really appreciated
Really awesome
This has helped a lot as I’m about to play a cup final for my school at LB despite me being a CM edit: thanks for the heart mitsojr
Good luck
I used to play RB / CB, but looking at how the game as evolved, I dont think I'd be able to cut it as a wingback/RB nowdays. Just a classic tall lanky CB haha. Cracking content!
This is an amazing vid thanks
This is really helpful I would just like to know if most of this applies to a LWB/RWB ( Btw I’m a LWB )
As a beginner Right Back, I find this video very educational, eye opening and so encouraging. This tips really are gonna help me a lot, can't wait to try them on the pitch and in the game. Thank you guys for making this video amazing and available 💜
Big thanks, this is very usefuly
Used to play winger Sunday league. Flat 442. Team didn’t use the width of the pitch much an didn’t get much of the ball. Plus the main tactic was a route 1. Stopped playing for some years but studied the game better as I got a bit older. Still played 6 a side an it was pretty intense. Picked up a great defensive mindset. Started playing again an jumped in a full back. With my new tactical approach an defensive mindset it blended perfectly with my ability to find feet an carry the ball up the field an make runs inside an out. Became a much better player an wished I’d taken up this roll earlier. Much more involvement in the game
Playing right back one of the most beautiful things in my life 😍😍😍
