Maple Hill Mountain Bike Trail - Kalamazoo, Mi. | Got Caught in Thunderstorm!

Bob, Carlos and I took a trip to Maple Hill Mtb trail just outside Kalamazoo, MI. It was my first time ever visiting this fun little trail, while Bob and Carlos had been there before. Our original plan was for 2 laps of Maple Hill, and then hit Ft Custer on the way home and lunch. However, we were caught in a very heavy thunderstorm. Original weather forecast gave us a few more hour buffer…but as you can see we got slammed.

Trail Info:
The trail can be ridden by hard tail or full suspension bikes and is pretty much all Green level.
A daily parking fee is required (Self check in form at the park entrance)
There is an Outhouse and open air changing station near the lot.
There was a water hose/pump - but bring your own just in case.
The trail is bi-directional based on the day - But it is very clearly marked
The trail is only 4+ Miles (Trailforks lists it as 12 miles which is NOT correct).

While we were very close to several awesome places for lunch, including Bell's Eccentric Cafe and The Beer Exchange, we decided to go to TBC (Territorial Brewing Company). Mostly because we had already planned to go there after riding Ft Custer, but the heavy rainstorm we got stuck in ruined our 2nd trail ride plans.
TBC had an awesome staff and very good German themed beer and food.

@@SherpaVision LOL I know the one. I have done 3 videos I've edited, added music, commentary, all that. But I usually find most of the video is unusable because I keep standing up and sitting down. And most of the sound id unusable because of my panting lol
