- As some of you might know, due to family issues I spent some time in Poland. Due to some obligations I wasn't able to film much but I promised you I will, when I only can. So at the end of May I went to the Royal Enfield rally in Poland, or actually small meetings of a few friends, who learnt that I am in Poland and invited me to that event. Which in fact was invitation only. I can only tell you that I missed those empty Polish roads, even if it is in fact flat and pretty boring ;) Let me know in the comments what do you think.
Best regards
Uncle
Those long boring empty roads look beautiful!!! Some great bikes too ❤
there is some coolness in it ;)
Some lovely bikes there, good to see back making videos 👍🏻
I'm slowly getting back but this year will be a bit different for me certainly
Good to see you about and about Uncle Longbeard. Great looking roads for riding when the weather co-operates.
weather cooperates only when I'm not expecting anything ;) You will see me about more often I assume.
@@UncleLongbeard Certainly hope so mate.
I enjoyed the video, good to see you back.
I'm back but not for long mate. On Saturday I'm riding my beemer to Poland...
enjoy this one off video. you get rain, like we do in South East Virginia, US. states 100 percent rain now, and then 20 min later it states 2 percent, so i leave and 10 min later i get soaked... good friends!
I don't mind being soaked if the temperature is that high that I will be dry in a few minutes :D
@@UncleLongbeard last time i got caught in a rain storm it was in a valley, an hour later i was in the mountains were it was 50 degrees and being soaked sucked. but it makes a story! i enjoyed yours.
@@BlakesPipes exactly, we don't memorize it usually when everything goes as planned. Very often we just remember the worst of it, which is brilliant ;)
You used narrow track trains when young? I thought you're like 35-40.
49 mate ;)
@@UncleLongbeard for some reason I always have had the impression, that narrow track was abandoned close to 100 years ago.
@@theodorstravels it was all built until late 50's I believe. But it was in use till the early 90's in Poland
@@UncleLongbeard That's fascinating actually. I always thought by the time I was born, all narrow tracks remaining were only for entertainment purposes. We still have some tracks around here, like few hundred meters, or so, with small old steam trains.
