One of the best series on basing I have seen in years, maybe best ever. There so many video's on painting mini's and not enough on making beautiful bases. Really happy you guys shared this one on here! Also this theme is right up my ally.
Such an awesome tutorial Andy. Im looking forward to watching the rest. I gotta say, these videos are making me seriously considering joining the patreon next year! I dont own an airbrush, but it seems you have a lot of insight for brushwork as well :)
Beautiful !! For the moss effect, there are AK interactive and "Dirty down Modelmates"..very nice products available . And there is one important thing missing in this nice forest ...some Mushrooms !! Esay to make with milliput or ready to glue/paint at "Kellerkind-Miniaturen" in Germany !👍❤
I also have found that MiniNatur makes great moss pads. These Summer ones really look like moss. The Early Fall ones are a bit too dark for my taste. I totally agree that you have to be careful with painting them, because the minuscule hairs clump together even if you use paints with less medium in them like inks for example.
A great combination of skills and techniques. I work out in trees for a living and can say you've done a brilliant job capturing the look of ancient, wet woodland. Which brushes do you use? They have such a fine tip.
I appreciate seeing your process! Thank you ❤

Been waiting for this one, looking forward to the finished product
Awesome tutorial! It was great how you explained the different steps and also the changes/corrections you made throughout the process
Very impressive!
Loving the end result, especially with that backdrop and godly moss! :) Thanks for sharing!
5:49 Holy shit, you have 3 hands! That must come in handy... ;)
That moss looks so good, the whole thing is really lovely. I'm excited to see part 4!
Absolutely next level mate. Fantastic work!

Beautiful, I've some vignettes planned and that technique for moss is going to work perfectly for them.

as i watch this video i fucked up my fountain 😅
but my second one is a success 😉
Good afternoon, among the moss you have placed some plants. What are they called or what brand are they? Thank you so much
Hello?
Same doubt here…
