ok... THIS IS INSANE, I think the hype is fully justified. Genuinely everything we could have wanted in a wolverine figure was put in here. This is truly a dream come true for X-Men fanatics. LET'S GO!!
So happy for those diehard Wolverine fans. Huge fan of his portrayal, definitely inclined to pick this up!
As far as I'm concerned this is the only time Hot Toys has fully nailed Hugh Jackman's sculpt, so it's great to see they figured it out. I don't necessarily think it's their best headsculpt ever or their best figure ever, but it is as far as I'm concerned by far their best Wolverine figure!
Just curious what would u say is hot toys best headsculpt ?
@@big_chilling3509 its interesting because I remember years ago seeing the DX T-800 from T2 and thinking, "wow, how can it get better than this" and then obviously time goes on and things improve. I remember being really floored by the most recent God Loki sculpt. Considering Tom Hiddleston seems like a tough likeness to nail down I thought that one was amazing. I really liked the prototype sculpt for Artisan Anakin and also thought the unmasked Green Goblin prototype was really impressive giving how animated his expression was. But this absolutely is in the conversation, and I think much like the Loki one for me, it's all the more impressive when they finally crack the code and make the "perfect" likeness for actors like that.
I respect it. This is INSANE tho, but there are a ton of other absolutely nailed sculpts as well

I’m not accusing Hugh Jackman, but giant traps compared to shoulders are really common in bodybuilders under the influence of anabolic steroids. Because steroids work by artificially activating androgen receptors to increase mass, and the traps have significantly more receptors than other parts of the body.
Even if he is I totally get it, cause the dudes like 60 and needs to play wolverine. But that could be why his traps are so big.

Today is a good day for me not only did I get a waitlist convert for Peacemaker or to wake up and see this badass looking Wolverine let's f****** go it is a shame if you don't get the deluxe version I'm pretty sure this means that with the deluxe Deadpool we're getting Wade Wilson head sculpt but this is coming home

I've put in a pre-order. Jackman is a bloody fantastic Wolverine. Just that none of the figures before spoke to me enough to want to get it. Overall this looks insanely good, AND with comic inspired suit. It's funny that these prototype pictures of the figure got me more excited to watch the movie than the recent trailers ever did. Regarding the traps. I'm pretty sure it's a figure thing. Naturally when we move our arms up our traps shorten and the pivot point of the shoulders go up. Try slowly lift you arm up while resisting letting you shoulder go up. It starts to get very uncomfortable around 45 degrees and beyond. Obviously unless there are joints for the traps we could get a more natural look. That's why most figures look weird when you start to bring the arm up closer to 90 degrees. Worse when you want to go beyond that. It is what it is. The figure looks amazing still.
Yeah I think you’re right. Posing the arms up makes the proportions look a little wonky, totally normal. Congrats on the order my friend! Thanks for watching

LETS F***ING GOOO!!! Been wanting a comic accurate live action Wolverine since I was a kid so him and Deadpool are instant pre orders. This will also be my first Deadpool & Wolverine Hot Toys figures and probably the only versions of them I’ll ever need so this is absolutely perfect for newer collectors like me cause we’re starting off with peak!

Wow, all these past appearances as Wolverine and it takes a Deadpool movie to finally get an awesome Classic live action Wolverine figure . I will definitely be getting the deluxe version, but I have a slight nit pick...is Hugh Jacked-man's hairline receding that far back or does the size of the forehead need some fine tuning?

I’ve always said that nothing is ever perfect but this is and I’m not even a big marvel fan

Way too overhyped. In my opinion, people need to relax. I’d put other figures ahead of this one just based on functionality and uniqueness
I think the hype is totally valid here. This is a dream come true for a plethora of collectors
This certainly isn't my personal grail, but I think it being super hyped doesn't mean it's necessarily the best figure ever in isolation. I think character popularity, head sculpt accuracy, costume, etc., are all helping elevate the figure. Personally, I do really like the street clothes aesthetic of Wolverine, but if you're going for the Blue/Yellow motif, I think they did right by the customers. But I definitely agree this isn't their most "unique," but I do appreciate that they've given people a few different display looks that allows for more versatility instead of keeping alternate looks behind several figures and costing more to the customer
