Hey, if you’re Hispanic and prefer the term “Hispanic” over “Latino,” my apologies.
I tried to go with the most generally accepted term amongst Hispanics. Originally, I thought it was “Latino.”
But, after doing some post video study, I found that “Hispanic” may be the more preferred term.
There's a lot of overlap. You didn't do anything wrong
I don’t mind either way, maybe some people will care as the terms aren’t always interchangeable but it’s not a huge deal

I really wish miles music wasn’t just hip hop infused stuff instead of incorporating his Puerto Rican side too

But seeing as he lives in Brooklyn New York it makes sense that he listens to hip hop. If Miles were real he’d probably even listen New York drill lol
@@uzii6540 have you ever met a Puerto Rican person, I have a cousin who’s black and Puerto Rican who’s lived in New York all his life and he mainly listens to Puerto Rican music, same with the rest of the young people in my family, I don’t know where you got the idea that we don’t listen to our own music because where we live😭

But it’s a fact that due to where Miles is, he’s more than likely going have a liking to the typa music that is mostly played around him. Because the places u grow up in, influence u. Samething with people, they influence u.

The official music didn’t wanna go full hip hop and wanted to mix it with that superhero music from the first game for the sake of series consistency. I wish they had gone further into Miles getting his own musical vibe

I fell like the music should have been more intense when swinging or doing combat, though it was a lil too chill for such action focused scenes.
But overall this really gets that Hispanic vibe down the way you wanted, keep it up man, love your content

I love that the dynamic music that was introduced into Spider-Man ps4 and ofc continued into all 3 games. It really does set the mood of the specific gameplay moments the player is engaging in

10/10 analysis on the sounds and styles of Miles. I myself am Puertorican, p similar to Miles unironically (puerto Rican mom, black dad, from Brooklyn, real difference being my mom was the real hard ass growing up lol) and when going through Miles Morales’ game, while the score was FIRE, I think your approach really respected the character and his roots as Puerto Rican, Black and, above all, a Brooklyn Badass 🤙🏾

The stealth one was my favorite. The guitar line in it was perfect

And the goat is back at it again. Love each of the different tracks here, they all work really well. The only criticism I would give is that the stealth track felt a little bit repetitive, but apart from that pretty small issue, this was amazing as always.

4:31 idk if this is only in Peter’s game, but when you zip through a water tower it causes the music’s tempo to go faster for a second. I kinda remember it as drums but I’m not sure since I haven’t played the first game in a while. Also don’t know if it’s in Spider-Man 2 as well.

This was incredible, the guitair melded so perfectly with everything. Every time it came in it was exciting, loved every track you made. I had a thought, what if there were 3 tracks, one that incorporated more hip hop, one that incorporates more latin sounds, and one that blends them together, could be interesting.

I kinda wanted him to have some regaetone music for a more versatile hispanic feel while still having the hip-hop feel and his black culture. Something with a Tres guitar and trap machine, I also think an electric classical bass would sound great for an orchestral version.

First one is that I really wanted to hear more of the swing track, u only showed us a glimpse an it was sounding amazing, my second critic is that in the underground fight I think it needs an extra spice, dunno it felt kindda blend before some time. Absolutely amazing how you fit every single movement in the gameplay with the music. The only thing i personally would've changed is the guitar for something more Puertorican than Spanish. (At least to ME it sounded a little bit too european) I would've make it more of a reggaeton mixed with hip-hop.

Something about the swinging score doesn't feel right, it feels like prerecorded gameplay with some music added on top. I think it's probably the guitar, If it was quieter it'd probably sound better or maybe that's just because the gameplay wasn't loud enough. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the stealth song but I also think that it's way too chill after detection. Just look at all the chaos on 12:09, the song should get as energetic and loud and chaotic as the surroundings. That's pretty much all I can complain about, overall I loved it all, great work man
