മോഹൻലാൽ തന്നിലെ നടനെ മോശം കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾ മാത്രം ചെയ്തു നശിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ 5 വർഷങ്ങളിൽ മോഹൻലാൽ ചെയ്ത സിനിമകൾ തന്നെ അതിനു ഉദാഹരണം ആണ് Eg:Marakkar, bro daddy, Arattu, big brother, ittimani,drama,velipadinte pusthakam, neerali,kappan, 1971 beyond borders ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച നടൻ സ്വന്തം അഭിനയ സിദ്ധി സ്വയം നശിപ്പിച്ചു കളയുകയാണ്. ഇതേ pattern തന്നെ മോഹൻലാൽ 5 വർഷം കൂടി continue ചെയ്യണം. അങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചാൽ പിന്നെ മോഹൻലാൽ സ്വയം ഒരു കോമാളിയായി അവസാനിച്ചുക്കോളും. Kamal is not honest. He said in the previous part about a teacher student physical relationship in mazhayethum munpe that had to be dropped because sreenivasan wasn't comfortable doing it. Yet Kamal himself later criticized Premam movie for glorifying teacher student relationship and that too in a speech. I still remember an interview where he said he doesn't know how to picturise sensual scenes, yet the reason he gave in this interview was about the societal changes involving nuclear family. On chakram, he basically said at the time about Johnny sagarika that he doesn't know anything about cinema but now he's indirectly criticising mohanlal. It was kamals big flaw as a director for completely trusting lohithadas despite him not writing the script that he initially told kamal. From mohanlal perspective, this is irresponsible. To justify the weakness in the script when chakram released with another hero, we saw how unconvincing the screenplay itself was despite the obvious shortcomings of the hero. All said, I used to like Kamal a lot in the 90s before he turned all sour when his films started to fail. Yet another director who failed to move along with the times.

Yeah not completely writing anyone off but I am a bit of a realist when it comes to these things. Many directors from his era including Sibi, GS Vijayan, Thulasidas etc are sitting at home not knowing what to do next. Only Sathiyan Anthikkad and Priyan have been able to keep up, Joshi maybe but he does very few films.

മോഹൻലാൽ സീരിയസ് സിനിമ ചെയ്യാൻ ഇഷ്ടമല്ലാത്ത ആളാണ്. തട്ടുപൊളിപ്പൻ അടിപിടി പടങ്ങൾ ആണ് പുള്ളിയുടെ ടേസ്റ്റ്. മോഹൻലാൽ ഒരു സിനിഫൈൽ അല്ല അധികം സിനിമ കാണാറില്ല മ്യൂസിക്കും അഡ്വഞ്ചറും ഒക്കയാണ് അങ്ങേരുടെ ഇൻട്രസ്റ്റ്. ഒരു കംഫർട്ടിബിൾ ഫ്രണ്ട് സർക്കിളിൽ നിൽക്കാൻ ആണ് പുള്ളിക്ക് താല്പര്യം. പുതിയ ആളുകളുമായി മിംഗിൾ ആവാൻ പ്രയാസം ആണ്. ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കയ്യൊപ്പ് പോലെ സിനിമയിൽ വഴി തിരിഞ്ഞ് എത്തിയ ആളാണ് മോഹൻലാൽ. ശരീരം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാത്ത ഒരു സ്‌പോർട്ടി പേഴ്‌സൻ എന്നാണ് തോന്നിയിട്ടുള്ളത്. ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെ ആയിരുന്ന പഴയ തലമുറയിൽ പെട്ട പല കില്ലാടികളെയും ഇപ്പൊ തോപ്പീം ബനിയനും ഇട്ട് രാവിലെ നടക്കാൻ പോകുന്നിടത്തു മാത്രമേ കാണാർ ഉള്ളൂ. മോഹൻലാൽ ഏറെക്കുറെ ആ അവസ്ഥയിൽ ആണ്.
