Even though I take care of my nails, keep them under polish, use a conditioner. But a few months ago I underwent a long bout of nail peeling. But that was after a short term anesthesia for a wisdom tooth removal. My hair was ok, but it damaged my nails. It went away after months of conditioning and vitamin intake.
Just rub Vaseline in to your nail. Works like magic.After years of problem nails , I started doing this about two weeks ago and my nails have never been so healthy.
100% accurate. My nails are prone to peeling since I was young. They are all also flat so I'm pretty sure it is genetic. The only times my nails don't peel is when I use gloves for doing dishes and use hand cream/nail moisturizer several times a day. Right now, I manage to wear gloves while doing the dishes but I only moisturize once a day (busy mom life) and they still peel. I need to get back in the habit of moisturizing my cuticles!
Peeling is probably the most annoying thing. 😭 You’ve got a few good habits down though! 👏🏻💅🏼 I swear, cuticle oil really makes the biggest difference for me when it comes to any nail issue 🙌🏻

Are you no longer using olive and June ? They have a nail strengthener I was hoping you’d review but it seems like your no longer using the brand, just curious

I've researched the main active strengthener in it and it works by pulling the fibres in the nail closer together so it's stronger. It has saved me for peeling. I love that it's a primer too, so it's sticky. I was using in twice a weeks so I found it almost worked too well and they got a little too hard. Once a week is prob best haha. Not sponsored, in fact I spent a lot to get it to Australia hah.
I am finding that crystal files are the same as glass files, although you recommend Crystal. I have combed Amazon, and again….they seem to be the exact same product. I did find one that specified Crystal, but when reading about it…….it switched the wording to glass. I am a wee bit frustrated. Will you please advise me ? My nails are natural.

Verticle ridges seem to make my nails peel, so I cut and file every 5 days and now, no peeling. Love your nail shape and length here.

You should get at least 2 weeks! Sometimes up to 4. Your light pink + glitter manicure sounds beautiful!!
