I’m really relating to your Operation Nail Growth. After years of salon gel manicures I decided to rehab my nails on my own. Followed yours and many other You Tube videos and have learned so much on taking care of natural nails. After 8 months my nails are in great shape! I discovered cuticle oil was the key …… yours has been one of my top favorites. I’ll never go back to another salon. This week I’m wearing Essie’s “Wicked” and love it. I’m trying all the polish lines out there and so far Essie Is my favorite because of the extensive color selection and formula. Keep inspiring me and others.
Hi. I just finished my 6 week nail growth journey and I am doing well. My birthday was 2 days ago and it was the perfect day to celebrate my journey and how good my nails look. I use Londontown products and they and Nails, Inc. are my favorite nail brands. Love that you can use the Nails Inc. cap to rest your finger in the groove to make painting the nails easier. I am wearing the original Illumination Nail Concealer from Londontown on my nails. It is a light milky white that you can build with. There are other colors as well for everyone's skin tone. I used their Get Well Nail Recovery for the growth journey. ❤
I recently became OBSESSED with nail care and have been LOVING your content! I'm also on ~operation nail growth~ as well! They're currently the longest they've ever been and I love them!
Currently wearing a french mani with Nails Inc Back to Life basecoat, two coats of Essie gel couture Fairy Tailor (base color), Essie gel couture Preshow Jitters for the tips, and two coats of Essie gel couture top coat! If it isn't obvious, the Essie gel couture line is my favorite of all time- I find it lasts 10-12 days with no chips, and I haven't broken a nail in months while wearing it! I always do 2-3 thin coats of color + 2 coats of top coat and find it gives me the strength and look of actual cured gel polish (I've had so many girlfriends ask me where I get them done or if it's gel!), and of course religious use of cuticle oil :)
Hi! I am also trying to grow out my nails. This is the longest my nails have ever been and I credit your tips and tricks for that 😊. I currently have white nails with red hearts on and my favorite polish line is Beetles Gel 💜
Love watching your nail growth weekly videos. I have very similar nails, as I don’t naturally have strong, long nails. I have to work hard at doing all the things you mention in your nail growth videos, and I’m always amazed when I’m able to achieve my preferred length in about 4-5 weeks. My favorite nail polish currently is Olive & June. I don’t have many polishes yet, and would love to enter your giveaway to start building my collection. I really love all their colors, and the quality of their polish is great. The top coat is amazing too. I've struggled for so long on growing my nails but you showing me this journey is amazing. I'm currently not wearing any nail polish besides a top clear coat. My favorite Nail polish is kur. I LOVE YOUUUUUU :)

My nails were terribly damaged from using press ons and not being delicate with my hands while having them on. I've been working on growing them out since the end of December. The damaged portions are finally almost all grown out, maybe another 2-3 weeks! I'm currently wearing a gel mani in the color iGel pinkie promise, it's such a delicate pink with a subtle shimmer. I'm excited to get my nails to a healthier spot so I can start wearing my KBShimmers and all of my indie polish favorites again! Although I do love Orly as well! I love their brush, makes application sooo easy.
I'm a fan of Essie polish, and I've also been experimenting with press on nails lately, and I like the Dashing Diva brand. I also find that wearing gloves to do dishes makes a big difference to growing out nails!
My nails are pretty long so I'm not trying to grow them but I'm on a journey to keep them healthy and hydrated! My nails crack easily so I'm constantly trying to repair them. I just have a clear gel polish on right now but I'd love to do something for Valentine's! My favorite gel polishes at the moment is the Beetles brand.
Right now I am wearing Belt it out.Morgan Taylor is my favorite nail polish.

I’m in week 3 of my journey. My nails look pretty darn good too! My husband even commented on how good they’re looking. Your videos are fantastic and so informative! I’ve purchased the UV LED lamp you recommended and performed my first ever gel manicure. I’m currently wearing the Gelish Structure Gel in clear. My nails are really soft. I want my nails to grow a little longer before I add color. My favorite polish is anything made by Opi. I used to only wear Opi on my toes but thanks to you in a couple of weeks, I’ll be wearing it on my hands as well. I plan to wear Opi’s Mi Casa Es Blue Casa. I just cut my nails off and started regrowing them, I usually do this about once a month. Right now I am wearing Essie Express in Air Dry, love the color I really like Essie's nail polishes!
I am always on a nail growth journey, lol! I love Morgan Taylor's nail polishes. My current mani is, French with the base being, Essie gel couture Inside Scoop, Morgan Taylor Call My Blush and the white tips are Morgan Taylor Arctic Freeze.
Your videos have been a game changer for me! Had never used the Gelish Foundation or Structure until I saw your videos and got my hopes up that I could have some decent nails. I loved wearing rings but felt my nails looked to horrible to wear. I'm now wearing rings again!

Hi Amanda! I love your videos! I currently have nothing on my nails because I tried polygel and then gel manicures at home, and I guess I either did the prep or the removal too harshly because my nails are now paper thin and they actually hurt!! I have been using the opi repair mode for a few days and they feel a little better. I am hoping to get to your length someday!! Thanks for the informative videos!!

Currently using press ons to jumpstart my nail growth. So much damage from acrylics before. Loved your removal video, so will be doing that once these are ready to come off. My favorite brand is Opi or Kiara Sky. Just order some Gelish so excited to try that as well.
I am also on this nail growth journey but I’m not having much luck lol. My nails have been peeling so they are currently unpolished. And I really like the Sally Hansen miracle gel line. Always stays the longest for me ❤

I started doing rubber gel nail base and it really damaged my nails, so I am starting over with short brittle nails :( I am currently wearing OPI Lisbon Wants Moor! I love your videos so much. I’ve learned a lot from you and I just love your style and delivery. So relatable. I have been growing out my nails along with you and it’s been working. I actually let my guy pick out which color I’m going to paint my nails that week. I let him choose from a variety of swatches. He loves to get involved and it’s a cute way to connect us while we are long distance. This week is Olive & June Quick Dry in Prom. Such a great pinky purple for February. I don’t know if I have a favorite brand but i really like Essie GC, Sally Hansen MG, and O&J. Thank you for all your videos and sharing your experience.
That's how my husband got involved in my nail polish habit. He would pick 4 colors, and I would pick one from those choices. Be careful, my husband started buying me nail polish online and in the store....I now have about 400 bottles. LOL

Hi Amanda, I'm wearing DD Night to Remember but honestly my nails are too long for this dark shade. I need to file them. I like dark colors better on shorter nails. Your giveaway sounds awesome! My fav polish is Olive & June. It stays and stays. I love DD drying but my nails just don't look as nice in a couple of days with it. idk but it's a lot thinner? I still go between the 2 though. Love the drying time of DD.

I have been trying to grow along with you. Unfortunately I had two break over the weekend so I feel like I am starting over hahaha. I have been using Dazzle Dry to grow them but contemplating getting out my gel kit. The color I have on my nails is a bright neon purple. Not ready for pink yet waiting another few days for Valentines nails, and i love love dark colors but I have been doing darks since October hahaha.
Yes yes yes to operation nail growth! I absolutely LOVE your channel and all the information you provide! I currently am wearing OPI’s Dont take Lai-away. It’s a pale/nude pinkish color! My favorite brand thag I wear is Gelish/Olive and June! I like to use gelish for my gel mani’s being the brushes are thick and easy to apply! O&J is my favorite for regular polish manicures and I always always use the biotin ultimate strength for the base coat! ❤
You do such a nice job painting nails. Gel intimates me but I like the glossy looks. As I delve further into this hand care journey,you have provided valuable tools and resources for having lovely manicures. There are so many choices of products,I’ve have been eyeing gelish when I go buy products,now I will probably try it after watching this video.

Hi Amanda - I’m just loving your videos! I’ve been on this nail growth journey with you but I haven’t been as successful lol - I lost 100 pounds last year (yay!) but my hair and nails took a hit! I’ve been using nail strengthener and they grow a little but I need to grow out the weak nail first I think. My favorite line right now is from Flexinail - I use their clear polish most times and their regular polish every now and then and their strengthener. I stay away from gel as I have allergies to a lot of gels - I love anything Olive and June and their press ons are fantastic - their glue is one of the few I’m not allergic to and you are right they don’t ruin your nails - I’ve tried other brands and they wrecked my nails 💅🏻

I’m on your operation nail growth definitely! I’ve been using my cuticle oil everytime I was my hands 😁 my favorite nail polish brand has to be Essie. I love all of their lines. I have Essie red on now. Red is my fav color for nails I’m old school!

I love the color you chose! I normally don't go that dark but love the slight shimmer! I'm in a nail maintenance phase currently, though my right index finger always breaks like deep on the side of my nail, ugh. I can't remember what color I"m wearing now but it's a CND shellac, a brand that I'm loving, but all time favorite regular polish is Zoya. And I absolutely LOVE your cuticle oil, I think it's done wonders for my nails as well!
hi amanda ! i've been growing my nails since june 2022 ! i had a major break in october but i managed to salvage the situation and i just filed off my nails to match the length of the broken nail .
i'm currently wearing a chanel nail polish called rhythm that was gifted to me by my boyfriend's sisters, it's a stunning deep blue shade that almost looks black on the nails !

I had to file down because of peeling so they’re still short but that’s okay. Right now I’m wearing Orly Neon Paradise. I guess if I look at what brands I have the most of it would be Zoya, Essie, and KL. Of those, I’d say KL.
Your nails are so beautiful, I am also grown my nails I am always been a nail bitter and I finally stop bitten my nails for a month now. I wish I could show you pictures I am also doing a nails growth journey I been so in to red nails polish.

Hi Amanda! I love these nail videos! What will happen when you reach your desired length in 2 weeks? I’ve gotten mine in good shape using Gelish products. I always use their base coat, top coat and structure gel. Right now I’m wearing their Black Cherry Berry. It’s been 2.5 years of doing my nails at home and I’m at the point where I have to bring down the length each manicure! Never thought I’d say that. p.s. #operationnailgrowth can you do this journey without the gel polishes, but regular only? I am loving Sally Hansen’s Color Therapy these days. I am wearing “Well, Well, Well” right now. And I bought the color therapy cuticle and nail oil yesterday and started using it last night. My goal is to use it wake up and before bed each day.
Do you recommend using lotion or creme ?

What are other cuticle oils that are good other than Sweet Almond you’d suggest?
I have two kinds of cuticle oil. One is made specifically for nail growth: jojoba and vitamin E oil. The other one (I mostly use) is a mixture of olive, jojoba, castor, sunflower, and avocado oils, plus vitamins A and E oils. I have very dry skin due to Hashimoto's and love using cuticle oil anywhere from 1-3 times a day.
