You are a gentleman, and so humble. Quigley Down Under was a great movie. May God bless you, Mr. Selleck.

My husband did the props for a pilot for a baseball movie that Tom was starring in. I'm not sure it was Mr. Baseball. My mom and I went to watch the filming. My mom ( probably about 70+ years old) really loved Tom, and when we were walking up to the set, we passed Tom, who was walking away from the set. Mom reached out and took Tom's hand and said, "Hi, I'm Bea," to which he said, "Hi, I'm Tom." She was so thrilled, and a few days later, he sent her an autographed baseball and picture. She was so happy, and I was so surprised because. Not many actors would be so gracious about being grabbed by a fan, but he was so gracious.

The Blue Bloods set is completely gone. The cast finished filming in July. They're looking for a job.

Thank you for a Great interview. Tom comes across as a truly decent human being, who is grateful for his career & is full of humility, unlike most actors in hollyweird these days, who seem to regard their audience with disdain, which has turned me off hollywood & mainstream film & tv.

"Larry knew Frank." So I heard. At a nice restaurant on Maui. It had a small patio for smoking. My then-husband wanted a cigar after dinner, so out we went. Larry was out there alone, smoking a cigar. He tossed it into the bushes in a panic, like he'd offend someone (or get in trouble?). Then my ex pulled out his own cigar & Larry dove headfirst into the bushes to fish out his cigar. LOL We 3 sat & talked & drank. Larry spoke loads of his friendship with Frank; pointed to a gold bracelet he said he got from Frank. I asked to see it closer & he took it off. I put it on myself & thanked him, like I was keeping it. He was clearly distressed. My ex was about the same size as Selleck. I was amused by the tension, maybe a bit too much. Of course I gave it back. Haven't thought of that in ages.

Did you mention November 19, 1980 in your book?
