    Thanks for the review. It is nice to know there are more and more barefoot shoes to pick from that look very good.

      @@ThomasPretsch can we get an update? How do they hold up? Do they strengthen the foot over time, if we were using regular shoes all our life?

    • @ThomasPretsch
      @ThomasPretsch  Рік тому

      @@harold1733 I think yes. They are especially good if it is your first barefoot shoe. Later to strengthen the feet even more you could look into even more minimalist shoes like Vibram Five-fingers. I have made a review of those also :)

    I have the HIFLY Barebarics and I like them! I work on my feet, on concrete every day so it’s nice to have the extra insole for work then remove it for non work activities.

      Nice. Barebarics is such a nice brand I think. Love the design. Doesn't look weird. Just normal fashion:)

    Hey, I am completely new to the barefoot game and haven't tried any yet, but in traditional sneakers I always used to wear a 42.5, sometimes 43 but in both most of the times my toes were too stuffed together by the small toe boxes. I consider getting the barebarics axioms or Zings for everyday use and the freet flex for the gym. According to you 42 in the barebarics and 44 in the freet flex should be perfect for me right? And do you take the insole of the freet flex out or leave it in?
    Tank you so much in advance! :)

    • @ThomasPretsch
      @ThomasPretsch  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Wes
      You have to measure your foot length to make sure and use the size guidelines from the homepage of Freet and Barebarics. But sound about right 👍
      I have taking the insole out of Freet flex, but put it back in since i mostly use them for running and I like the extra little minimal padding :)

    Do you think Barebarics shoes tend to run bigger or are true to size? According to the size chart, I would need to get a size 36, but I am usually a size 37-38. What do you think?

    • @ThomasPretsch
      @ThomasPretsch  2 роки тому +3

      I use 44 in Freet and Lems barefoot shoes. But on Barebarics I am only using a size 42. If you are in doubt reach out to the Barebarics. They will be happy to assist you I am sure :)

      My old shoe size was around 42/43 in traditional shoes.

    Good review, how does it tolerate water? I live in a pretty rainy city so the shoes kinda have to survive some rain and water

    • @ThomasPretsch
      @ThomasPretsch  Рік тому

      I only use mine in nice weather situations. So I don't know. I try to take as good care as possible and if the weather rapport is with rain (it is often here in Denmark) I don't put them on since I have a lot of other shoes to choose from.
