4:39 - That's a plus for me. I love all this barefoot shoes movement because they respect the toe box width but i dont like that the sole are very thin and flexible. Yeah, i get it, it has to emulate the flexibility of the foot, but, i dont know, i think that going from stan smiths adidas to a flexible thin sole is not good but also, they dont look as good. Great video.
Nice, i hope you like them. They definitely seem a safe bet for a first time barefoot shoe as they are quite supportive in comparison to other barefoot shoes.
Thanks, they look great, maybe some info on weight, stack height, materials... ? Compare ground feel to some staples like Vivo primus light for reference so people can get some idea? Thanks
Loving the review! Planning to get my first ever barefoot shoe. Looking to get something versatile that i can wear casually and for gym training aswell. Any recommendation on which brand or any particular model should i get?

I also like Xero for comfort but their look can put a few people off i usually wear mine for hiking. Vivo are also very popular but i found them too narrow in comparison and a little expensive. I hope that helps some what 😀
can say this videos gives unbiased infos when it matches the reviews of random redit users, as you said I consider them because I'm not entirely confortable with the looks of other brands 🤐
How do you compare these to the Feelgrounds Courtside? I read that the quality of the Feelgrounds are below par. The soles for instance tend to wear out quick.
BTW, HappyLittleSoles in the UK has them, and it's easier to do returns with them if you get the wrong size than to try and send them back to Be Lenka. Great video!
Heatwave at 28 degrees? That's so funny! It's the first week of April as of writing this post and we had 29 degrees in the shade for days now... I guess with climate its like with real estate, location location location
Hey, I am planning on getting my first pare of barefoot shoes and these seem to be pretty good for everyday stuff. In "traditional" shoes I usually wear 42.5 or 43 EU. 42.5 are often way too tight and my smallest toe starts hurting, sometimes even in 43's, hence I found out about barefoot shoes. Length wise 42.5 are pretty much always fine for me. Long story short: Would you recommend the barebarics axiom in 42 or rather 43 to me when 42.5 are fine length wise? Thank you very much in advance !
@@PeteOnPurpose Thank you so much for your quick reply, yes I can since I am from Germany that's probably the best thing to do right now. Bro can you please add the padding as a marker??? People discard the importance of padding especially for people starting or need more padding, on the insoles.
@@PeteOnPurpose Sorry for the English. What I meant is that barefoot shoes have a thin sole, 3mm to 6mm, and for some people it is enough. Especially if you are starting the barefoot journey. So I would like to know how thin the sole is? and how good is the padding of the insoles.
How’s the synthetic leather holding up? My Groundies started peeling pretty quickly, I’m looking for a comfy pair of vegan leather barefoot sneakers to do everything in
Synthetic leather will never last as long as genuine leather. I'm all for cutting back on the excessive meat consumption of todays society, but leather in my opinion is so much better than synthetics. Synthetics flake up, dont breathe, are made of plastic, and last a quarter as long. I like a lot of feel grounds looks wise but I actually intentionally avoid "vegan" leather, which should really just be labeled plastic leather.
I am a powerlifter and currently looking for a good looking white barefoot for squat. This shoe looks fantastic. But it looks like normal shoes to me. Is the sole of this shoe as thin as other minimalist shoes like vivo/xero barefoot? Thanks.
Hey Tommy, yes the sole on these shoes is minimalist, i feel like they feel a bit more padded around actual shoes compared to other barefoot shoes which is why they look more like normal shoes. I also find my feet get quite hot when i wear these shoes so just a heads up if you are wearing them for squatting.
@@PeteOnPurpose Thanks for the advice Pete😁 I actually don't mind of the heat as I will only wear it at the gym with air-con. But I saw in other website saying that the barebarics line's outsole has a little bit more cushion than other minimalist shoes. Does it feel softer compared to other minimalist shoes like your xero? If it is softer then I would have to looking for another one.
I believe the sole to feel a little softer than my xero shoes to be honest. I usually squat with no shoes or if the surface is slippery i wear my based barefoot shoes.
Hmmm I'm not, sure mate? I'm staying at my friends cabin currently when i am back i will check out the shoes and let you know as i dont have them with me.
and third. a huge long heel is always uncomfortable. And if she's tough. This results in a leverage effect. This hard long lever forces the rears to move up. because of this, the rear parts rub against the achilles. Therefore, it is better when the heels are short! So these slippers can't be better
@@PeteOnPurpose They look like the Primal Zen at the 4 minute mark of your video. Lems also make the Primal Zen in white. I was wondering when you would 👍
how do you get your packages? 😅
Haha my time living in a van was a lot shorter than anticipated however there are ways to get packages. 😉
I have 3 pair that I’ve purchased in the last 3 months. they are not the plain white ones though! I love them for work and in casual situations!👏🏾
Oh cool yea they are super comfy, ive actually been using these as my squat shoes

Yes i would say the stiffer sole is definitely better for transitioning, some of the minimal shoes can be quite painful especially the sandals
Magic eraser keeps those white shoes perfectly clean! 😊
Great idea
