Congrats to Jackson! My daughter is also a senior this year and has been accepted to the University of Minnesota for journalism. Such an exciting time for them as they grow and go on to do great things!

I just ordered some tea to be sent to my mom. She's currently staying with my sister and caring for her during cancer treatments. The tea will be something they can share and enjoy!

I’m still in wonder some days. I come in with a cabbage or a head of broccoli, and I say to my husband, “I grew this!”. Such a great feeling to grow from seed and actually get something beautiful and edible, despite all the challenges and frustrations. Your greenhouse looks amazing!

My second son wanted to go to university in our hometown and I told him he could live for free at home as long as he is educating. That was standard for all three of my kids.
👏🏻👏🏻 close college😁. Mine is a junior in college this year. He likes to wonder as well. So proud of him. You might mourn the baby and be incredibly proud of the young man at the same time. It’s a super strange feeling. Thank You Lord for busy homesteading. Thank You Lord for surrounding our families. Thank You Lord for the steadfast strength to know we are raising our babies up right and trusting You will continue to guide all of us.

I love the evolution of growing spaces. I like to think they reflect our evolution as gardeners and as people. This will be my 3rd growing season here and each year I rearrange and add and refine what works in this space. I love that your traveling young man is staying close to home, and the peace that gives his Mom. That table is gorgeous.

I really wanted to see your first reaction to the table ❤ Miah’s Momma is so proud of the man he’s become and how he cares for his loved ones! ❤ As I type my husband is “doing his Miah” replacing the living room stair treads and banister/spindles while I make him amazingly yummy food as my thank you. 😊 I moved Marshmallow seeds and potatoes to chit into the greenhouse today. Tomorrow I move out the bunching onion seedlings to make room for seeds I start next. Katie’s so fluffy! 😂 I just love the way you shine when you talk about your babies! God bless you all! ❤

As a military brat, I lived in Misawa Japan for 3 years. Loved every minute of it. i used to speak fluent Japanese. I haven't used the Japanese language in 40+ years.
The table has always been a work of art. Now it is displayed and useful while being colorful and fun to look at. I'm jelly! :)

Thank you so much for this. I absolutely loved this. So peaceful. And a reminder for me that it's ok. It's ok to sit and do what you want. I lived with a man for 12 years that didn't want me to just do what I want. It's so hard not to feel guilty for just relaxing and enjoying life!
