Absolutely! I also talk more in depth about how to create patterns in Illustrator in this tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/fQf88qbVJPo/v-deo.html (there's also a link in the description to the written tutorial)
Hello!! Exactly the video I needed I’ve been searching for hours there’s way too many options ughhh thank you 😅 Do you project your patterns? You’re so helpful 🙌
I have information on my methods for printing in this article (near the end under "Printing Your Digital Patterns at Home"): www.pointsofmeasure.com/tutorials-education/the-basics-of-patternmaking
I typically just do 2 transform functions (object > path > offset path) for each seam allowance depth, then delete the lines for each that I don't need and connect the remaining lines. You could also just transform for the .5 and then manually move the bottom out to 2.5.
Yes it is, but you have to move each point by hand - it's not automated like in other patternmaking software. I talk about grading in Illustrator in this video: ua-cam.com/video/DzrifjkwaX4/v-deo.html
I have this in-depth tutorial that goes through everything I cover here: ua-cam.com/video/fQf88qbVJPo/v-deo.html There's also a written tutorial in the description if you prefer to learn that way! I offer custom courses on my website if you're interested in something more hands-on.
Not sure what you mean by "sw" but I'm using Adobe Illustrator in this video and the digital patternmaking rulers and foundation patterns you see in this video are available in my shop here: www.pointsofmeasure.com/shop?category=Patterns
Can you make a detailed video for those with no digital pattern knowledge? Would be so kind of you.

hello! So when you would like to print the patterns digitally, how do you go about that?
I have information on my methods for printing in this article (near the end under "Printing Your Digital Patterns at Home"): www.pointsofmeasure.com/tutorials-education/the-basics-of-patternmaking
Do you know how to make seam allowances bigger only for bottom of the pattern? Like 2.5 for the bottom and 0.5 for the rest of the cut.
I typically just do 2 transform functions (object > path > offset path) for each seam allowance depth, then delete the lines for each that I don't need and connect the remaining lines. You could also just transform for the .5 and then manually move the bottom out to 2.5.
