Those are great knife gifts from Dennis! And that’s a beautiful trapper from John. Nice Rough Rider knives! What a variety. Fun idea! Happy Monday Tom! Cheers, Dubya
THe can opener on the Rough Ryder Scout knife dates from the 1890s. It is one the earliest styles of can openers every used on a knife. What I like about it, is it makes an excellent box cutter! The liner lock sodbuster was initially a pattern developed by Case. But they discontinued it and said it was never coming back! Rough Rider said "Hold my beer!""
Great review Tom!! You discovered something I didn’t, the can opener 😊.. so glad you liked the Jowika! And it will be interesting to see if you trade your RRs for any of these.
Great look at these RRs Tom! Any swap outs? Or i will just have to check out Big Reds video for the suprise! Thanks for sharing! Think I am 7th on the list!

I have that Carbon Work Knife.
Nice! How have you been doing, Rusty! I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.
Rough Rider is on the verge of crashing my holy trinity of Buck, Victorinox and Cold Steel. Lol.
Lol! One of the reasons I haven't "collected" them! Thanks for watching, David.
Old style can opener on that camper. Look up British Army clasp knives and you'll see many.
Thanks for the info, my friend! I appreciate you stopping by, my friend.
Sorta sad after examining several Rough Ryder knives and realizing they had better action than name brand American made ones in my collection 😢
I absolutely know what you mean! Thanks for watching, my friend.
