I would have never thought of using the rope lights for heat mat.....Fantastic idea ! So sad that you lost some of your plants in the greenhouse, hopefully some will come back. Glad you could bring your fig tree in to keep it safe. I have a green house like that in North East Texas , I only left my feverfew plant out there and it did well with no heat, only lights. I brought my aloe vera plants in the house. Next winter I hope to have heat out there for when we dip below freezing.

I think maybe next time I’ll put a heater in there, but it’s our first time gardening so we’re still learning and trying stuff out, thank you for watching.

I'm in the golden triangle and I had to bring all my putted plants in the house which included 2 gardenias, an olive tree and 2 meyer lemons. They barely fit 😂

A small heater will help you from your plants freezing.

I think next time we’ll put a small heater in it , it’s our 1st time having a garden so we’re newbie’s lol, thanks for watching
