- My iPad is stuck in a bootloop for a few days now. Even without the charger on it. I tried DFU mode, but I can't get into it, so no point on telling me how to (I'm expierenced). Please help! I can't figure out how to get it back working. I've looked over the internet for several days. HELP!!!!!

Solution Guide: To stop the boot loop, you need to do a special procedure. First, balance the ipad on one of your knees in landscape. Second, you hold the home button with your left hand firmly. Third, you hold the power button with your right hand while gripping the ipad firmly. After 5 seconds, press as hard as you can onto the ipad against your knee until you hear a cracking sound and the ipad snaps in half. To finish up, smash the ipad into smithereens with a hammer and buy a new damn ipad God damnit.

bro that literally happed yo me i was watching a movie and it just randomly cut off and kept doing that
*Note: This will DELETE all data on the iPad, so make sure to back it up before hand* Plug The iPad into a PC or Mac with iTunes installed on it, Put the iPad in DFU Mode (Press and hold power and home button at once and then let go of the power button after the screen turns off and keep holding the home button until the screen turns on with an iTunes logo) then open iTunes on the PC or Mac then iTunes should say that it found an iPad that is in DFU Mode and you have to restore the iPad, then click on restore and after half an hour or so the iPad should start up and work again.
I hope this works for you as I had this problem with my old iPad and this solution worked. Tell me if this works

Restore it to the factory settings and after load it in setup to the backup
On an iPad 2 the way too get into DFU mode is to hold down both the power and home buttons pressed down.
This is done to restart the iPad.
Once the iPad restarts, you can release the home button, and keep holding the power button, while connecting the iPad to a computer with iTunes or a Mac with iTunes or the Finder. It should then enter DFU mode, and iTunes will tell you there is an iPad in Recovery mode connected.
After that reinstall the OS, you’ll lose everything on the iPad, but you have no choice.

Aaron Boongaling By putting it into DFU mode. It will then detect the phone or iPad in ITunes and then it should ask for it to go into recovery mode or to restore the device or something similar along those lines. It will wipe the data either way and restore it to factory settings. And idk if this method will work here but if it does then there you go.

Your battery is damaged it needs replacing. Happens to iPhones a lot, or it’s a cable going bad take it to a repair shop. Last option get a new one
PRESS AND HOLD THE POWER BUTTON & HOME BUTTON UNTIL IPAD STOPS & TURNS BACK ON. WHEN YOU SEE THE APPLE LOGO, LET GO OF THE POWER & HOME BUTTON. THIS SHOULD FIX THE PROBLEM.

try the original power cord or no just use to your close ipad repairer but if you repaired it. it may happend again just switch the power battery
Solution 1: restore the iPad through iTunes by plugging it into you computer and installing iTunes when you install iTunes and set it up iTunes will detect the iPad then you should click on it and click restore and it will factory rest back to the setup then you can set it up again
Solution 2: hold the power button and the home button for 20 seconds until your screen turns completely black when it turns black press the power button and it should work if it doesn't work try solution 1
Hold home button and power button till the apple logo comes back or then use recovery mode by holding home button and plugging in charger to computer is iTunes or finder
Try holding both the power button and the home button to hard reset it and if it dose not work enter recovery mode
Force restart it or take it to get it fixed. (But if u take it to get it fixed, it might keep doing it again after a while, i had mine fixed and it happened 4 times again after)
Once the apple logo comes up immediately press the sleep button and home button. Release the buttons once the screen goes off then try normal booting by pressing the sleep button

If iTunes does not reset it (remember to use an original Apple cable as others sometimes don't work). It is either the battery is totally dead or the iPad has just bit the dust.
DFU mode, connect it to the computer regardless if it’s a Mac or windows with iTunes installed. If you don’t have a laptop then you’re shit out of luck.
Hold down the on/off button, that usually forces the battery down

I suggest you get a new iPad as Apple has stopped supporting the iPad 2 for years now. The new iPad Air is a great choice

There are two reasons i think did you jailbreak or update? If not it may be hardware or something you did when messing with shortcuts (Ex.Wallpaper cycle it had an exploit you can set anything to wallpaper causing to bootloop)

So here is what you do: open up the trash can an toss it in because it won’t run any apps you will be needing to use anyway.
It’s probably failing to load a crucial file on boot (missing or corrupt) you’ll have to reset with itunes

With the boot loop problem, this is a serious way to help not a joke. Get a hair dryer and turn it on. Use it to heat the whole back of the iPad. Then the boot loop should stop and it should turn on if it is charged.
Are you SURE this won't melt it? And, what amount of pressure do you use for it?
