Big fan of Nautilid in Barrels team. Great showcase for just how effective it can be, passively cleansing stacks, buffing and shielding the team, teaming up with Vertraag to make what appeared like an impenetrable defense for much of the match. With the heavy offensive firepower that the team brings in the usual Beetloid/Glowdra mode, having a more defensive approach available gives great flexibility.

I quickly threw together my spirit debuffs team since I really wanted to use Changling and Polterofen + Sycophantom and it was quite the success. It's very tanky and can really grind down the opponent with debuffs. However, it doesn't have good enough burst damage to get through tanky monsters like Vertraag and Elderjel so it just kind of outlasts the opponent till infinity stacks start and then dies. If the opponent doesn't have enough healing or has frail monsters, this team is really good though.
I'm unfortunately inexperienced with the team and didn't play it well game two. I tried going for a faster start with Changling but it had nowhere near enough damage to get through anything. Without Polterofen building up shields or charge stacks for an inevitable kill, I really didn't have much going for me. I also should've sided out Rocky since it wasn't helping out much this match.
Changling having both Imitate and Couterfeit is really fun and powerful and I'm really happy I got to use it this tournament. However, it didn't perform as well as I hoped against many teams. Hopefully by running the team more I'll get better at using it.
