After using these meals for 3 years I can safely say I have enough experience with them to review them for you. I first discovered these meals when they where provided as the meals for the Fjallraven Classic in 2017.
Fjallraven have been providing hikers with the real turmat meals for a long time during the Fjallraven classic around the world.
Out of all the freeze dried meals I have tried, the Real Turmat outdoor meals are the best (for many reasons).
Whether you're day hiking, fishing, multi day hiking or kayaking the Real Turmat meals are light, filling, full of energy and most importantly taste really good. So i'd recommend having them in with your hiking gear
With a range of Vegan, Vegetarian, Fish and meat theres plenty of choice for what ever your dietary requirements are.

If anyone is reading this in 2024 still, these meals are an absolute treat on your hike! I have tried many different brands that you can have in Europe and these ones tastes absolutely amazing.
As a norwegian I can say that REAL Turmat are good meals and all but only downside is the huge price

Tell me why you keep saying dehydrated ?? These are freeze dried ?

The problem with your review is that from the off you call Real Turmat a dehydrated meal, no it's not it's freeze dried, that is a totally different process & locks in a lot more of the flavors than the dehydrated process used in meals like Firepot and alike.
I am aware. And sorry for that. It’s an issue I had kept calling the dehydrated when I knew they where freeze dried. You not the only one to point that out. Apologies.

Real turmat is 100% better than all the other freezedried meals. It is indeed a freezedry meal.

Get in your vehicle and go to McDonalds. The gas and your meal would be cheaper than these Turmat meals.
True, there not the cheapest. But you get what you pay for.
i also find it way too overpriced,for my purpose wich is longterm food storage.
for three people for 3 months is just not possible...i mean hefty😄
they have a 7 day bucket with 21 packs for 140€...do the math😂
