toned or coloured paper is my preference with coloured pencils saves so much time and my wrist by not having to colour every single space. def good idea switching to the pen thing for the background

Same. I can’t remember the last time I used coloured pencils on anything that wasn’t either toned paper or a wood panel/plaque.

Badass!!! You could have used charcoal for the background, even charcoal powder. But the ink looked great.

Very true. Might have been a bit too messy for my liking but it probably would have looked nice as well.

Wow that looks great this might be a weird question but how do you sharpen your pencils because I would like to try it

Not a weird question at all! For the coloured pencils I like using the AFMAT Long Point Pencil Sharpener: amzn.to/3eRKcMT
For my drawing pencil I still tend to sharpen it by hand with a knife because I can get it to an extremely long, fine point like I like.

Wow your picture looks amazing. Never used this method and yes I’m so going to give this a go. Will watch again but you explained everything so well that I most probably won’t need to. Thank you for another great video.

Thank you! This was definitely one of those topics that I wasn’t 100% sure if it warranted it’s own video as it’s such a simple idea, but I’m glad I went through with making it!
