  • We've heard from people wondering how we have set up the van for weekend trips away from the Airstream, so on a recent trip that involved dispersed camping, we created a tour video with some tips and tricks we have learned along the way for better van camping.
    .
In the video, Jessi mentions we might do a look at how we're using Starlink on our travels in the van. Ari wrote a blog post about installing Starlink in our Airstream, so if you're interested in that, you can read it here: trekers.org/st....
The Heatshield review is available on our blog here: trekers.org/ge....
And the video review of the Southwire portable power station is on UA-cam here: • Gear Review: Southwire...

What made you go from a Roadtrek to a cargo van?

Because we're on the road about 9 months out of the year working remotely, we needed more space. So we traded our Roadtrek for an Airstream trailer. The cargo van is our tow vehicle that we're now also using as a weekend camping vehicle away from the trailer.

I've been a subscriber for a long time & have learned a lot, I saved most of your Mich series. Thank You. Did you make a video on why you went from a Roadtrek to an Airstream? I thought the RT was perfect?

Glad you've learned so much and enjoyed our videos. We appreciate knowing that! Some life and work changes made the Airstream a better choice for us right now, but we'll most likely go smaller (or much smaller) again in the future. We talked a bit about why we made the switch in our Airstream tour video when we shared it's features: ua-cam.com/video/bAG_PMcaSSU/v-deo.htmlsi=3Y7PmmNZDp0OrdcR.
Thanks for being a loyal viewer!
