I like the look of the cloth grill and not the metallic. It blends nicely with the cabinet and doesn't call attention to itself.

I just upgraded from the sb2000 to the sb2000pro well worth the upgrade just to be able to use the app was worth it for me. I 100% agree i prefer the metallic grills over the cloth, I wish they gave an option to choose between the both I would have paid a little extra for the metallic grilles!!!

ahhhhh,I finally found someone who listened to both series, Daryl Austin my friend plz tell me the difference in performance does these go good for movies with good lfe or would have to upgrade higher
@@waymonfrench2077 depends on your set-up, room size. for me, they go great I'm more of a fan of the sealed over the ported. They are great in my room I have a mid-to-large room. I can still feel the bass on my couch so I say yes they are great for movies. I especially love the app, a lot easier to set-up and maintain without having to pull the subs out. well worth the upgrade in my opinion.

I purchased two of the SVS SB-2000 Pro’s. At the time of purchase I didn’t know that they changed over to the Cloth Grills, Boy I was so Happy when I received them and didn’t have that Metal Grill, the Cloth Grills to me just fit better in actual living environments, that was the only thing I didn’t like about the SVS Subs, So, I am very happy with the SB-2000 Pro.
It would be Great if you could take them one at a time like maybe just do the SB-2000 vs. SB-2000 Pro and compare the new to their predecessor and tell us the Difference’s you are actually hearing/measuring.
Like is the perceived or actual loudness noticeable, Does the output sound any different, etc, etc.
I know that they have stated a New Re-Designed Woofer, 550 RMS 1500 Peak vs. 500 RMS 1100 Peak, DSP and access via the App, but with the changes mentioned, Does it actually make Any Real Difference.
I am not asking to bust chops as stated I already purchased SB-2000 Pros and plan on keeping them, but I think that info could help others that may be considering saving a little and getting the older model instead.

Your 2 cents means $dollars and what your asking makes alot of sense I was wondering the same thing compare these the way your asking to see if its worth it, how well does your sb pros stack to your liking any buyers remorse is the bass ok

@@waymonfrench2077 Hi, yes, I am very satisfied with the Dual SB-2000 Pro's, honestly I was very impressed with the single SB-2000 Pro. These sound great with music because they Hit Hard and are very tight. I must say though, I am a little old school and I love the sound of sealed (Acoustic Suspension) LoudSpeakers. I am very happy indeed.

how much better really is SVS Pb 2000 pro then the old one for a couple hundred bucks more I mean is it a lot better or is it just a tiny bit better I'm looking to get one I need to know which one I should buy

Just purchased a pair of the PB-2000 Pro’s and have to say that they are undoubtedly the best home theatre component add on that I have ever purchased. Admittedly my last sub was a 10 year old, 150 watt, 8 inch so it wasn’t difficult to surpass. I truly believe that these are impressive but can’t help to wonder if a set of PB-3000’s would be even more impressive. The 4000 and Ultra 16’s are too large for my floor space and aren’t an option. Not too concerned about volume but more about quality and impact of the bass. So the question to anyone who has experience with the larger subs, is it worth the extra $1100 (Canadian $’s) to upgrade to the 3000s? Appreciate any insight as I have another month to trade up if I decide to do so, thanks.
I had a pair of PB 2000 pros and then upgraded to a pair of PB 3000's, there is a major difference between the two models. Spend the extra money and get the 3000's and you won't ever look back.
@KB BBQ Thanks for the replies, appreciate it. My room measures 14x24x7.5 high. 2520ft3 room with no open areas. Mainly use the subs for home theatre and after calibration and room setup, the volume and output never goes above 70% as it gets way too loud. The PB-2000's never get to max volume as it feels like my house will shake apart. The part in Aquaman when he goes to get the trident scared the crap out of me but had me grinning from ear to ear. My question is, at the same volume level (approx 85-90dB)while watching a movie, will the 'quality' and impact of the bass from a pair of 3000's be an improvement over the Pro's or would upgrading to the 3000s be overkill and a waste of money if I'm not at full volume?
@@darthsquider8586 They will be both a quality and impact improvement. I started with the PB 3000's then returned them for the PB12NSD's but they were too small, then got the PB2000pro's, just wasn't impressed after having the PB3000's, returned the PB2000pro's for the PB3000's that I started out with. I recommend starting at the PB3000 and if your still not happy and have a lot of money go bigger but I'm completely happy with the 3000's (always in pairs)

@@waymonfrench2077 So far these are incredible with LFE in movies. It's hard to describe but it's a tactile experience where you feel it just as much as you hear it. It's an awesome experience if your neighbors will let you ;-) I haven't even come close to maxing these out either.. far from it actually.

Yes the grills are interchangable between the normal and Pros. I had both in my apartment for awhile and was curious if they fit too. It made the Pros look exactly like the PB 3000 ;-) It would be sweet if we could have the option to pay a little more for the metal.

Nice job, I think the pros sound better, but I wish you did not move so much when recording the audio was terrible at times.
there was a microphone in a different location than the camera me moving would have no effect on proximity
The cloth grill was a mistake, who knows what they were thinking.
metal can rattle, cloth cant.
