Another nice session, Jerry. Good on you for helping out a fellow fisherman. I've seen you do this before, on other videos, and I just wanted to commend you for your generosity towards others.
For something a little different, try fishing for fluke in the shade lines of bridges at night. At Point Lookout drawbridge, we actually saw fluke using their bodies to corral bait to the surface at 3:00 AM. I probably wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it myself.
always good day, dusk but it heats up best late night on that tide, triple the daytime action with bigger flounder bass blues and weakfish flushing through. You may see Shelly after 1am she only fishes after midnight!
My Dad and I were driving past the gil Hodges bridge and were wondering how people were getting to that location for fishing. Seems like a really good spot for fluke and blackfish.
Oh yea all kinds fish run through there good rips along the stretch, I think people park at the first lot in FBF and walk down or theres a lot if you have the gateway permit by the bridge
You should get yourself a Stainless Steel Fishing Hook Remover,Dehooker Tool,Push/Pull Hook which if hook is deep you'll get it out without leaving it in the fishes mouth. I love using the Egg sinkers when Fluking where at the end i fasten 24" leader with two hooks hi lo .
That reel you're using, Daiwa? Looks like one I have. Just a tad smaller. Love the show. Keep them coming. Thank you.
Cool comment, thanks, that is a Daiwa really good reel totally dig it. The smaller one you have is just as good if not better for this
@@FishYourWay i thought it was a penn 104/105 (japanese)

Hi Jerry, Those two Fluke were pretty big. The Sea Robins and Fluke are still hanging out together. Good luck and have fun, Mickey
Like peanut butter and jelly!
Flipping for fluke! Love working tight to anything possible. They cannot resist edges!
All with a few dings on the bridge! Happens!

Remember the plastic bag to keep some of the sand away when you lay the rod down! Nice to see you imparting some aid to another angler!
Love the plastic bag idea next time!
Im digging your measuring tape
It works great!
Haven’t been to bottle beach in ages, the bridge reminds me of that place
Oh yeah! Great beach for a walk so much cool stuff there!
Just flipping here and there
Dig it!
You're in my spot jerry
It is quite popular in summer, especially if there is a porgy bite more then anything else.
Awesome video Jerry!
Is there a specific height that you tie your hi-lo rig? And what size weight do you use? I plan on heading to that spot tomorrow.
I like 18-24 inches but no hard rule something in there you should do well!
@FishYourWay thank you Sir.
@@Fishingwithjaggie My pleasure

Give the office a ring, you may be able to park at the lot when you pull in on the right and walk down
I hope that guy knows the size limit on fluke being he didnt know what fish you were catching.
I think he does and I kindly mentioned in side discussion just in case
These waters are infested with sea robins. I called it quits after catching about 30 of them.
They will wear ya faster then bass at that rate!
What vintage is that reel?
Daiwa 2600c
where you park to fish under the bridge?
The lot right where you pull in
