Question might be getting a bearded dragon so when you said the night light light which one is it because I know there is a UVB light a heat lamp and a basking light? Ps your channel helps A LOT
T L the night time lamp is a completely different bulb from the basking lamp and the uvb lamp :)
T L the night time lamp is usually red, purple or blue in color but I suggest the blue or purple one because it doesn’t disrupt their sleep as much as the red might :)
they prefer complete darkness. as long as the ambient temp stays above 65 you're good. if below.. get a ceramic bulb. but they prefer cooler temps at night as it helps them sleep.
My bearded dragon doesn’t have a night light. If you live somewhere warm and keep ur house at least 70 Fahrenheit then you rlly don’t need one, for daytime power sun 100w works really really well. It’s heat, uvb, uva, etc. basically all the things they need in one. It’s a little more expensive than normal ones but you only have to buy one lamp, instead of 2 or 3
I think as long as you keep your house around 73-75 at night even if you live somewhere cold it’s okay because that’s what I do and mine sleeps perfectly! He actually won’t sleep until I shut the lights off lol he give me his grumpy and sleepy look like ‘cmon woman let’s sleep I’m fucking tired, you should be too’ 🤣..I shut his lights off around 9:30-10pm. Because I turn them on around 9-10am! 😋

hey taylor, what do you do when your bearded dragon poops on the carpet? i have always washed mine and then leave it in bubbly water for about 30 minutes but i don’t know if that is the best idea. also i have two carpets, so i can switch it to another carpet while the other carpet is drying.

I wish I could get a bearded dragon but, they’re too expensive. Like every reptile and pet. I wanted a hamster but, my parents are tired of them so..idk.

I'd say aboit once or twice a week depending on how messy your beardie is

Ik this is late but If you have a baby beardie, you can put your beardie in another area like the pet carriers for fish with their live food. once their done eating just transfer the beardie back into their tank 💪 But for the bigger beardies if you have another tank like the tank you got before your tank upgrade you can put them in there cause they won’t fit in the fish carrier I hope this helped to stop the bugs from going under the carpet 👍

Also quick questions do you let the carpet completely dry or is it still partially wet when you put it back in? Also, what part to what part is your water vinegar solution?
I think it's probably better to put it in dry as they don't really like humidity. And she said in some other video that it's equal parts vinegar and water.

This is actually an AWESOME cleaning video, lots of people don't know how to properly clean reptile carpet and I'm glad you showed just the right way you should do it in this video, the only things I can really critique is that I think your bearded dragon needs some more ledges and they need a soaking spot, a place where they can dip their body in water to help get the shed off their skin, so whenever you get the money to buy your beardie more enrichment make sure to buy those things
they do not need a soaking spot, you can give them baths, although its not that nesacery there shed you come of jusst fine ( some morphs need baths) they dont ussually bathe them selvvess,

Melissa Hernandez I really only clean his tank when it gets dirty. He surprisingly is a very tidy lizard and doesn't make that much of a mess, only on occasions! :)

Is the uvb light the basking bulb ?
Orange Ave No, a UVB light is separate from the basking bulb. Basking bulb is for heat and digesting. UVB is for Vitamin D3 which then helps the bearded dragon use the calcium! :)
