I am a D7200 shooter, and don’t really do video, but this video was informative anyway. Your video came up because I am looking into battery grips for my D7200 and maybe the old D3100.
Thanks! Your videos are helping. I just got the Nikon D7500. I’m excited. I have notice a bit of flaws but this camera is definitely a step! Continue making these videos and in know time you’ll blow up! Keep up the great work!
Pretty much the only person on UA-cam with a video on the grip! Does the grip focus when the shutter is half-pressed or do you have to resort to back-button focus?
Thanks for the video. It’s been 2 years now since I got my d7500 and realise that it does not extend to a battery grip, where I like to shot portrait. If this works I’m so happy.
I bought tje vertical grip but it doesnt allow me to use my screen or view photos while im using it. Is there anything i can do with settings to make it normal??
That's strange! The issues you are having, I've never experienced. I would exchange it for a replacement.... Buy first, have you tried taking the grip off and putting it back on?
Hey Bryan, I have been using a D7500 for over a year now. And I mainly shoot portraits. I have considered buying the Battery grip in past but it looked very plastic and not very rugged (like the camera body). Is it actually that flimsy and cheap plastic made? And btw, does that Sigma 18-35 mm lens improves the AF speed (Compared to 18-55 or 18-105 Kit lens)?
the battery is made from hard plastic but it feels really good. I've had mine for 2 years and no problems with it. The Sigma is quicker to focus and also sharper.
I own a Sigma 18-35 lense paired with the D7500 , I had a lot of front focus problems, I bought the Sigma dock to calibrate the lense, now is very sharp, I love sigma lenses, btw AF is fast on this lense
So happy i found your channel!! I was heavily looking for someone to shoot portraits with the d7500 (like your style) for a while! Thank youuuuuuu
Thank you! More photoshoot content coming soon!
Great video! I love the chill vibe you've got going on and I look forward to working with all your suggestions. Much appreciated !

Thanks Bryan! I'm still thinking seriously about that grip.
