At 23:26 there isnt any button other than the "return to main menu" one on my screen despite me plugging in my controllers, the computer acknowledges the controllers but it doesnt show up anywhere on the psmove config tab.
I am gonna do this tomorrow and if it doesn't work well im gonna buy a oculus headset with my birthday money next month
edit: just saw that you have to spend stuff on lots of equipment for move your channel is great and this is really cool but in my opinion because I have the chance to I will buy a oculus headset
This is really cool, I'll have to try this on the weekend. Does any webcam work with the move controllers? Or must it be a PS3 camera.
Unfortunately, it only works with the PS3 camera. The software was designed to work with those cameras specifically.

So I got it all up and up running and even did the paper calibration thing for the controllers, but when I started playing, within seconds the controllers started rotating... the light sabers would not remain in the right positions... I finally gave up. It was so disappointing to get that far and still not be able to play. :( Any ideas? Edit 2: apparently my move controllers don’t have the magnetometer which helps with yaw drift... not sure if I have any other options.
That is strange... it usually drifts but does so at a slow rate. You can reset the orientation by holding the controllers outward and pressing the Select button on the Move controller. Let me know if you have any problems...

Unfortunately the PS4 camera doesn;t work... the software is built to work with the PS3 Eye camera specifically.
If you say you add more cameras to improve the shakyness of the move controllers , couldn't you show it if you have 4? i'm hesitant on purchasing all the stuff before seeing it in action :( nice video otherwise!

I use two if I am playing a front facing game. You can use just one but the results will be jittery. And yes, Beat Saber works awesome with it... you can see it in my latest video.

If you wanna get a better experience with VR and gaming in general turn off the Win+G thing in the pc settings. It will boost your performance quite a bit. Older PC's using windows 10 would benefit from turning that off. I have a high end PC and I still turn it off to get that buttery smooth fps. It is optimal to play VR at 90fps, no lower than that or motion sickness will most likely kick in.
Are you talking about the Windows Game bar? I will test it out and see if I can do an FPS comparison. Thanks for the suggestion!

is there any way to remove the "parkinson" from the controllers?
Hahaha... the "Parkinson" is caused by three main factors. First, not enough cameras tracking the lights (2 minimum). Secondly, the calibration was not done properly or the controllers moved during calibration. Thirdly, the Bluetooth card or computer is not fast enough to keep up with the controllers.

Will this work with Ps4 move controllers? I followed all of the steps, but the part at 23:25 my controllers never pop up. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
I have tested it with both PS3 and PS4 move controllers and both have worked the same.
Just an fyi, the ps3 and ps4 move controllers are exactly the same.

Actually not true... the PS4 controllers do not have the same gyroscope system as the old ones. You can tell this when you do the PSMoveService because the old ones require you to calibrate the gyrocope by spinning the controller and the new ones are self calibrating.
Ok... when you plug them in to your USB for calibration, do they show up? Make sure you are using a Mini-B cable and not the Micro USB slot. I have not had any luck with the Micro slot. After calibration you need to have a Bluetooth adapter connected in order for the controllers to stay connected. Let me know if I can help in any other way.

Just search your computer for Steam and see where the folder is located. Manually select it and it should work. Thanks for watching!

I wonder if I could play steam vr games (Boneworks, etc) with the PSVR headset while using the Valve index controllers :D
It's probably good to mention that you must have a USB Bluetooth Dongle to connect your PSMove controllers to your system. At 23:27, you can see he's got a Host Serial number, meaning there's a Bluetooth dongle hooked to his system.

After 3 hours of attempting to set my Ps move controllers V2 (zcm2e), I managed to get one connected and fluked it.. couldn't stop there though..right!!🤯😭
Another hour and trying everything until I accidently managed to connect the second controller..
In case this helps anyone, I think.. it could just be a coincidence but.. I was off the config tool screen whilst pressing the ps button to repeatedly connect.
Unplug everything you don't need i.e keyboard/psvr/ps eye camera's as this may have been a factor.
Honestly thought it wouldn't work, but the guys that have been working on this software seemed to have got it working, so I persevered..
I'm never going to let the batteries run out or connect to anything else, ever again.. need to purchase some new controllers for the PS4 now.. 🤯😅😭

Please do a tutorial on how to use the PSVR AIM controler with Oculus rift? I don't use the PSVR as an HMD I use my Rift with Touch, but I want to use the AIM for certain shooting games and to be able to walk around using the thumb stick. Any help is appreciated. Thanks for the videos!

Hello! I was following this tutorial to use the Playstation VR on my PC, I bought Trinus PSVR and a second PSEye but I have a question, I really hope you can help me. I followed the tutorial to the letter but when I open SteamVR, the Playstation Move are positioned very well under "The Floor" in the game. In addition, the PSEye used as base station appears behind me and the Move are oriented in the opposite direction, with the balls pointing towards me,
The small green window asking to hold the Move in front of my head to calibrate them to me does not appear. so I do not really know what to do to position the Move Controller properly. I really need help. The problem may be because I used only one PSEye? The second is still to come. Thank you so much, I hope you will answer.

Love the video it’s great tutorial and currently I’m working on getting the psmove light orb on top of a ps Navi controller so it can track those instead of the move controllers which hopefully is going to be awesome and work well as just have the software track those lights and read the controllers buttons instead of having on move controller attached to it just for tracking in vr games🤘Wish me luck

There is but it's better to use more than one, more than two even. The more you have, the more accurate your movements are you to be.

when I try to pair my PS controllers, my laptop prevents the the PSBridge from connecting them, is there a way to bypass or get rid of it?
I do the entire process, controllers calibrated and everything, tracking worked fine and the gyroscope was fine. But loading steam vr, the controllers don't light up. No idea what to do.

If motion controllers can be connected with your phone and you can use them to move around your hands in a VR game.
on PSMoveService with 2 cameras the shakyness goes away, I have 4 cameras in my set up
I use a 4 camera setup on my room scale games but for most games you can easily get away with 2 with minimal shakiness.
@Vito Scaletta I'n the video he uses one if you look his controllers were a little shaky when he showed us because of just one camera so yes you can use one but two would be recommended

I guess you have to install the drivers for every camera you use, but do you have to calibrate the controller tracking colors for each one of them too?
Yeah it is pretty easy once you know what you are doing. I recommend at least 2 cameras for front facing games and 4 for room scale games. The stability of your Move controllers depends on a number of factors including speed of your computer, speed of your bluetooth adapter and the speed of the USB connection to the cameras. Drivers need to be installed only once for each camera and you need to calibrate the tracking colors once they are attached. Hope this helps... thanks for watching!

So I basically only need the cams, I already have a second set of moves, that I bought for Dreams PS4 last year (this year got PSVR as a bundle so I have 4 moves now, using the newest ones on the PS4)
Good vid. I came here trying to fix a driver issue with my “Microsoft” Xbox 360 gamepad on my “Microsoft” Windows 10. You would have thought Microsoft would have stopped these silly games by now, but my controller if it turns off or runs out of battery, I have to restart my computer for it to recognise the Xbox 360 controller. Quite shocking. Worked fine until the last update.
That sucks... I just use a corded controller on the PC... never runs out of battery lol
well, I think I may have fixed it. LED motherboard lights app. never bothered installing it, but then got the full GPU and CPU water cooling installed and wanted it to reflect CPU temps, so installed the led control app from gigabyte. once I stopped it running, the controller works again as it should.

Very strange... you are using the mini USB port, not the micro USB port?
JRaeGames my controllers don't have mini USB they have only micro (ps4 move) controllers
It detects my BT adapter but not the controller (I used ps4 charging cable) do I need Ps3 move

This is a known issue since the latest version of the PS Move controllers got rid of the mini usb port. I will see if there is an updated driver for the newest controllers.

Hey JRae. I have been thinking about buying a PSVR. It is nice to see that there is a way to use it on the PC as well. I was curious on the amount of PS3 cameras that are required. I have one already. Is it necessary to have 4, one on each side of you, or can I just get a second one and set them front left and front right for better tracking? I am new to the technology and just trying to get a better understanding. Are there really that many games that need me to turn all the way around? Thanks for the great videos.
You can watch my video for seated games for 180 degree experiences. Majority of games will work without you requiring a full 360 room scale setup.

Not that I know of... it can charge with the cable but it requires bluetooth to function.

Right now, I'd rather just buy Oculus Rift.
When I click "select" and "start" at the same time to "spawn" the controlles in, they spawn about ten miles away from my head in VR. I've tried every color for the motion controlles but none work. Now I bought two Ps3-eye cameras just to get to this point... great.
How old are your PSMove controllers? If they are the new ones then they do not center as good as the old ones did. Another thing to try, use the SteamVR Beta version. It seems to work better with PSMove Service.

Is there a way to use a PS4 controller instead of the PS Move controllers? I bought a VR game on steam and I'm using PSVR and works great, but I can't interact with the world. I can only exit/enter doors by looking at them.

Yes you can use DS4 Windows to connect your controller but you will only be able to play games that offer Gamepad support.

I have one big question. Can I mix keyboard with the motion controller? Allowing me to walk and turn with the keyboard, look around with the VR, and swing a weapon with the motion controller.

I have never tried that but it sounds like an interesting setup. Let me know if you get it working. Unfortunately the PS4 camera is not supported on PC yet.

Thanks again for all your videos - I went out today and picked up the PSVR in gamestop (ireland). They looked confused in the shop as they hadn't sold any and I explained some Canadian (I think) shows how to get it working on PC ;)I brought it home and took awhile to get it working ; I used a usb cable I already had, which turned out not to work with it. Once I used the cable from the box it worked perfectly. I have a slight issue with overlap, but after rewatching your other video just now, I've realised I'd been using extended mode for non VR games, when it should have been duplicated. so how do you setup any controller including mouse again? not seen it at all in your video. im wanting to start a game in steam and only have a mouse.
Your video is absolutely GREAT ! You talk slowly enough, you explain everything nicely as well. But i do have a question;
How do you know how to set up your controler if a game (like Waltz of the Wizard ) request an action that is not on your ps 'dual shock' controler in the first place? What i mean is when i get my psvr working and i see into the game in VR, the first thing the game ask if for the player to do an action with the controler only found on those 'move controlers'... How do i know which key that correspond on the keyboard? My question could also be ask this way; Are ALL movement button or actions correspond to a keyboard KEY everytime? Or is it possible that a VR game requires ABSOLUTELY a MOVE controler because some action are only possible with that? Damn... Every game should come with a key binding set up you could simply download...

I will buy 3 ps eyes and 2 ps moves but how I will charge them? Seller won't give anything more. Will I need extra chargers or something? I will buy used product so it just says 1 ps eye (I will get 2 more)+ 2 ps move + a ps3 game (for psmove) .
You can use a simple phone charger to charge them
The PS3 Eyes will need to be wired but the PSMoves will need to be charged with a USB cable.

The playstation camera uses a proprietary connector that doesn't work on the PC without modding.
when i am trying to pair my motion controllers it only goes up to set 5 and then goes down to step 4, any ideas on what i am doing wrong?

How many BT dongle are needed? One for each move? Or can I pair 2 move on the same dongle?
Just one and multiple bluetooth devices can connect.
Just a heads up, You don't *Have* to use a PS3 eye cam to use the motion controllers, you can use a normal webcam (I think) instead. And I'm certain that there is another way to connect your motion controllers instead of buying a Bluetooth thingy because you can connect your PS4 controller holding the Ps button and the start/Share button and it will connect so maybe thats a way. I'll try it and I'll put the results in the reply

The Bluetooth adapter does not need to be set up. It should just start working as soon as you plug it in.
JRaeGames ok thanks, yesterday, following your tutorial i have played assetto corsa and is amazing but without head tracking is a bit sickness when you move head forward, back, up and down. I nave watched also the video to put on helmet the psv nove controller...you are the best.

Not sure... I haven't tried that. I will say this... trying to use a keyboard and mouse while wearing a headset is absolutely brutal.

+Hayrettin Left-Right is best for two cameras... if you end up with three then I would move on to a triangle and four would be a square. Hope that makes sense.
Is this safe to do with your psvr headset and what camera do you use ps4 one or a pc one. I would love to play alot off vive games on steam but can't afford the HTC vive
+Chris Gaming TV as far as I can tell it is 100% totally safe and does not damage the headset. I would definitely recommend it as an alternative to the Vive

so i seem to have an issue getting even my mouse and keyboard to work in vrchat while using the psvr....not sure what im doing wrong here..any help would be appreciated

im using my iriun webcam but its still hard for me to workout i am stuck on zadig connecting the device but iriun doesnt show up as an option, what do i do
