Great video this will help a lot of people. If your micro SD (TF) card reader is still working you might want to consider using a micro SD (TF) card to regular SD card adapter. This puts all the wear and tear of inserting and removing the card on an easily replaced adapter. Some people have reported having trouble with their printers reading the card if it is swapped while the machine is powered on, but a firmware update solves this for most people anyways. Once you're sure everything is working there are printable enclosures you can install everything in and mount it to your printer. I've had a few videos pop up on my feed for the adapter mod, was thinking about doing it, but this video convinced me. Nothing good can come from me poking around on circuit board with a hot soldering iron, lol. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Well done. Much better than I can do. Came across this because I need to resolder the USB port on mine after it just came loose. Never been very good with soldering.
Thanks. For soldering I recommend a very pointed tip especially if you have to work on smd components like usb connector.

Clean your tip and use solder wick. No need to add more solder to it.

Just built my Ender 3 Pro. Ready to print and the printer will not read the card unless I hold it in the slot. I’m beyond angry and frustrated. Poor customer service. Any ideas? Is there another way of getting files to the printer. What about the USB mini port next to the SD card slot? Ugh!!!
2:58 finger too close for comfort
I had gotten a longer lk5 pro and this happened. They sent me another one that has a properly working tf card reader but it unlevels immediately after I finish leveling it.

How many pins is the part? I see 11 pin and 10 pin card sockets
How to replace motor board voltage regulator?
My sd card is readable but it still shows no tf card? I tried a new card and it does the same do you recommend swaping?
If you don't want change entire board immediately, you can try to change the microsd slot.

@@CrescentCanine I didn't fix it. I had to buy a new replacement mother board from amazon for about 40 bucks
