Chole Fineman has been my celebrity crush ever since she joined SNL. She's BEAUTIFUL, FUNNY, SMART AND A SWEETHEART. Someday she's going to be a bigger star than she is now. Just so talented.

I really enjoyed getting to feel what it's like behind the stage at SNL with the things you go through to get a sketch on, Lorne's personality, the relationships among cast members. Crazy that Farley's Motivational Speaker almost never happened. Also agree that the Beavis & Butthead sketch was just fantastic, and the breaking actually fed the funniness of it

I luv these shows for like the first 20ish minutes and then I completely fade out. Imo unless it’s a mega star the show could be a tad tighter. Cut the time in half and leave them wishing it lasted longer. Just my 2 cents…other than that you guys rule.
I don't watch the current SNL much, but Chloe stands out as a very funny cast member.

I totally get what Chloe and Spade say how some skits need the "right" person to work. Let's be honest....."More Cowbell" would not have been nearly as funny (if at all) with someone other than Walken. And the Lorne imitations are great.....keep them coming! Nice podcast once again.

You guyses are the best! I mean seriously, I barely have time to keep up with all the good contnent you upload. A video version would be nice, even a shoddy one (low quality and all)! Seeing the face and body language is sometimes half of a joke, it definitely adds some context to the words. Audio without video feels a bit like texting.

I’d like these non-video podcasts better if you guys would record them without seeing each other-like over the phone instead of Zoom. Y’all are doing things visually for each other that we can’t see, which is a bit frustrating and isolating as a listener.

I think that comment Lorne made to you, David, about “let them miss you” is ACTUALLY specific to YOU. Your portfolio would be more powerful if you didn’t take half the jobs you took and were more selective.

Chloe does a great job .I wonder if it a little tough for women doing impressions it's difficult because they're not as many notable and variations a famous women's voices out there. Yet from valley girl to any accents (better term than foreign accents,as domestic regional are a thing), you can have fun,nan it woman. Dana loves doing accents..... So when she does Jennifer Coolidge everyone can relate and it is funny because a lot of people recognize your voice and she has an unusual voice.
I didn't get the earth is flat but sun has huge knockers joke until later also! 😅

I'm trying to understand the "fake pitch" concept. Why are you pitching stuff that you don't intend to actually do? Is it just to not look bad for having nothing at all? Or is it something else?

Guys guys... i'm a big fan and I have been a big fan for 30 years. I hope you will take this suggestion well; it's coming from a good place. You have an incredible podcast and you're getting a list guests, but your audio production is inconsistent and sometimes D+ Quality. Me love you long time, but I am making this suggestion to serve my ears as a regular listener.
* before you begin editing the audio, you need to calm all of the clips and spikes to create sonic headroom for limiting compression and amplitude. Otherwise, your levels going to be dangerously relatively lower than other podcast loudness levels. * Also, turn your recording levels down, your microphone inputs down really low, maybe 30-40% so that when you have those clippy moments it doesn't distort in post. Turn your headphone mixes up to compensate.

Yawn…There were 2 comedians on the call. Can we just throw the persons pic up abs let Dave and Dana talk?. Don’t really need these non comedic candidates.. living in nyc should be able to afford a $25 headset for zoom calls that will cut the annoying high mids and sound professional. This new nerd robot fake laugh approach isn’t remotely entertaining.

The problem this podcast has is that David is wayyy to comfortable. He wants a Charlie rose type podcast when he hasn’t fully established himself. He’s close, but needs to keep fighting. Dana is entertaining, Spade isn’t. The problem with this podcast is that David has told Dana to not be Dana. We all want the Dana impressions, but he’s holding back

Hard disagree. Spade doesn't get anywhere near the credit he deserves. Consistently hilarious and quick on his feet with a stealthy zinger. Plus, this podcast is supposed to focus on the guest vs. serving as a spotlight for Dana's impressions, which we get plenty of in the Superfly podcast.
The problem with this comment is that its trying too hard to be Hemingway... but comes across more Andy Warhol. If you could introduce more sensations: sight, sound, smell ... maybe I would engage.
The general consensus is Dana interrupts the guest and Spade all the time, talks about himself way too much but isn’t a good story teller , does the same unfunny impressions and asks questions that go nowhere, whereas Spade is effortlessly funny and very laid back with guests.
"Keenan is so articulate..." Yikes
He meant Keenan speaks very clearly and enunciates his words, so he stands out from the rest of the cast. You don't notice this? Keenan always stands out because he's funny as hell and uses his voice and phrasing in a way that is often over dramatic and always interesting. But, of course, you are implying that what Dana said was racist, which says more about you than Dana.
