I'd love to see more about the teaching the classics material. Maybe even later on a do a lesson with us video. Especially would love an end-of-the-year review.
From your 6th grade reveal and recommendation of Generations, I am changing my plan! Ordering their 5th and 8th grade bundles. I'm so excited! It looks wonderful! Just what I've been searching for. Also going to do the trial for Night Zookeeper for my 5th grader. Thank you so much!
I hear so many people dog on Teaching Textbooks because they think they leave so much out. I still am not sure if I should keep my son in TT when he goes into Alegbra 1 next year or do a couple others that I have my eyes on like unlock math, math with mr d, or CTC... I worry because you said yours do great, but then other say something else. I'm glad I found fix it grammar! You and some other mom definitely made me buy it!
I'm afraid of TT too. I don't want to ruin my kids' future by not using a rigorous enough math curriculum. We've tried it in the past and they hardly retained anything.
We did the Health and Nutrition course and it is hefty. It took us all year. It was much more science than I expected considering they say it’s an elective. I’m counting it as a science.
we started but it was so time consuming and demanding that we ditched it...my kid took health at the Arizona State University, it was very interesting and much less demanding, 8 weeks and got and A and 3 college credit...Apologia was such a waste of time and money for us...
Did you like American History? would you use it again? Did you make the reading list according to your history? I am trying to find something for my son, and I am undecided for this coming year.
I love these videos!!! :) Do you perhaps have a recommendation for a telescope? The ones I've purchased have never been very good. My rising 8th grader has an astronomy unit this year and it would be great to have one!
We bought ours on Amazon, it seems to work pretty well. Here’s the one we have: www.amazon.com/dp/B000MLHMAS/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_0CSHBC4QTDH1ZX6CS26E?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=ml2&tag=handmadehomes-20
Do you live in a state that highly regulates homeschooling (I know some states really make you jump through hoops and have a lot of requirements)? Is it hard to keep up with all of the regulations?
So you or will you teach all the things with your 10th grader? And your other children? If so how do you teach all the kids and your other mom/wife things ?
What do you think? Want to see anything in further detail? Leave me a comment! I’ll add it to my UA-cam filming list for you!
Thank you for sharing. Did I miss writing? Is he finished with that?

Oh how neat! Let me know what you think, so far I'm really impressed with Generations!
Pilgrims Progress is my hubby’s favorite book! The Apologia Nutrition is heavy for sure. I had my high schooler stretch it out for 2 years.
I LOVE how you are not afraid to switch curriculums you do an amazing job homeschooling.... Thanks for sharing
Thank you!
That American History from Generations, looks great. It looks like a great year ahead.
High school I’m definitely buying books 🫣😬. I’m printing everything I can for now in the lower grades.
I would love to hear more about the American History course.
I’ve been patiently waiting! Lol
Thank you so much for sharing
Thanks friend! I hope you enjoy it!
Which Teaching Textbook is your older son doing? I'm so thankful that you included that your kids are testing good while using this.
We loved seeing all of your curriculum suggestions! Thank you so much for sharing! 😀
Thank you for the lab kits and curriculum! It was such a blessing ❤️
That American history looks intriguing. I'm going to check it out!
It's amazing! One of the best history textbooks I've ever used.
Would love to see some flip throughs of the stuff from Generations! I've not used them before but this has piqued my interested!
Me too!!

Thanks for sharing about Generations. I was having a hard time finding a World History I liked. I’m leaning towards going with them.
That's great!
Thanks for sharing this interesting video 😊😊

I haven't decided how we're going to use it just yet. I have a couple of ideas.

Was there something about MFW that didn’t work for you? I’ve been on the fence about using their high school curriculum. Thanks!
Amazing videos!!!!💗💗💗💗💗

It’s my understanding that the apologia health can count as 1/2 credit for health and 1/2 credit for nutrition
Oh neat! Thanks!!
Have you ever looked into the Robinson curriculum?
That's totally new to me, I'll have to look them up!
What is the website for the American history. Also where do I find the Christian classics?
Thanks

I was wondering if these same cirriculum would be good to pick from for 8th and 9th greaders?
Most of these are for 6th grade specifically
