Crank case pressure is vented to atmosphere thru the filter, the rear PCV that used to hookup to intake tube, is now also vented to atmosphere with plug in the intake tube
@@CRTFD_G I did z1 silicone hoses but when I did the passenger one I ran into the problem with the air intake resonator box or whatever it’s called so I just put on a piece of hose that connected the z1 tube to the port on the bottom but I got a p0441. Any ideas to what it could be ?
I got the ISR’s over a year ago and went to install them one day and was pissed wondering why they werent Identical to the stock ones and why it didnt come with the extra nozzle on the right side intake. I talked to someone in my group that said Z1’s silicon kit has pieces that reroute all that to work like stock but havent attempted it. Is there a big difference doing it your way? Also Forgot to ask the dude I bought em from what he did about it I just been letting em catch dust lmao.
Doing it myself eliminates any blow by from the PCV back to the intske tube, Lowers intake air temps as well. They’re called silicone PCV tubes. Prob cheaper to do it that way.
Yo I see the the front hoses you cap them off then put the small filters on the gasket covers that worked fine? My wife's q50 one of her breather lines broke and it cost $84, This looks better.
No bro don't use the oil filters you're never going to notice it it's going to happen over time I'm dealing with it right now you don't want these problems it's going to throw all kinds of other codes besides map codes and eventually that oil will seep down onto that little tiny thin piece of metal on the MAF a good luck with that. I know for the 2017 they're asking between 2 and $300 a piece. Just go with the dry ones bro I promise you I'm 41 I've never had the oil ones till now and they came with the car and I'm taking those m************ off tonight
Thank you 🙏 this is the only video I could find with someone using stock air boxes with the pcv delete
I've heard about the pcv deletes but what exactly do they do? Just curious never done it myself

Lower intake air temperatures and no motor oil rebreathing.
If you have enough blow by switch to catchcans so you have a better chance at keeping an eye on where the oil is going.
@@kennethstreet7868 this setup works good on my Turbo 3.7 it should hold up good on the Q
What size hose for the back 2 Pcv holes
Did the pcv delete cause any problems ?
No

@CRTFD_G why do you vent the rear pcv ports? The pcv delete kit I bought tells me to cap them.

I have pass through fittings into the valve cover,
