Walk Away was written by Joe Walsh from their 1971 album, Thirds.
It's a great mash of hard rock, funk, and soul.
The James Gang is Joe Walsh on guitar and vocals, Dale Peters on bass, and Jim Fox on drums. What a great groove Jim Fox created on drums here, in the main groove, as well as the chorus. It's not note for note, since I put my own style into it and what I was hearing. Wherever you are in the world today Jim Fox, thanks for the great playing and inspiration!

Jim Fox - In my opinion the most underrated rock drummer of the 70's. His play on this cut is an absolute masterpiece. If you want to see the best example of this live and up close, check out the recording of the James Gang performing this on the Beat Club program from 1971 here on UA-cam. Incredible.
