Because the gimbal allows the camera resolution to remain constant and thus the image quality will be higher; when using pixel-based tracking, the sensor is reduced to allow more pixels to be used for movement.
Sorry exposure control on the Insta 360 2 and 2c is poor and manual configuration is extremely overcomplicated. But the biggest issue is they require a discrete GPU/Video Card in the pc you're using which many people won't have (most laptops now have integrated GPUs)
Certain features are pretty much useless to the average user because your more than like going to adjust settings to compensate for the way you want yourself and surroundings to look, so being super sharp and crisp may not be ideal if you are aging or have skin issues you don't want to highlight, also most users are not around loud household or workplace machines therefore extreme noise canceling would hardly ever be needed especially when most streamers prefer to use a high performance mic instead
Can you do compare with tiny2lite?
The link 2 and c version are the exact same thing except for the gimbal and the rotating AI stuff, so how did one beat the other in your tests?
Exactly... Very strange.. 😅

Insta360 so amazing
👍Good video comparison, well explained!

Hello 🤗
Camera explorer 😊❤
Good Video.
I'm a bit disappointed to see there's no 2K 60fps with Insta360 Link 2
Insta's new cam design is sleek but feels bulky compared to other webcams.
Great video quality, but some noise in low-light settings.

Optimal!
Are you sure the Instas have 60fps in 1080? I don't think so...
Yes they do! You can double check the info on the devices using the links in the description 😊
So pity why not try tiny2 lite?? That one seems better
Autofocus is a bit slow when switching subjects; could use an update.
Very good review!
But they still lack the Linux software after several years. Would be easy to port the Mac software. 😡

link2 AI tracking struggles with fast movement, could be improved.
Review seems a bit skewed imo
I think insta is not that handy
