Awesome video, hopefully many see and can save themselves some good money. Have seen some people tap into the haldex wires and splice that and to me that it more sketch because you could damage the wire. This in my opinion is the easiest solution without hacking anything up

No need to heat up things unless you have heat shrink bro.
Those are NOT heat shrink. Melting those plastic pieces actually will reduce the integrity of those butt connectors.
Neat mod, just gotta level up the understanding of electrical connections and their components.

Do you know the name of the part that you put the fuse into with the wires coming out of it?
It’s from Autozone and the sku # is 32415 it’s like a $3 fuse tap

Absolutely yes but at the same time it’s a bit more annoying to pull a fuse do a burnout and then have to try and put the fuse back in the right spot when you’re going up to the light to stage. Would be extremely difficult to do haha
Man with all the money you’ve dumped into that thing it’s almost criminal to be beating on it that bad. Good way to fuck up the DSG, and all sorts of problems. I wouldn’t even launch it hard let alone burn rubber. But hey it’s your car, your problems lol.

Doing what he did isn’t exactly harm. Car has the set up for a reason. We don’t dump money in mods just to look at it and drive it like a Prius
