What I find ridiculous about all interphones is that nobody has yet thought about putting a remote controller on the handlebar. Sony NWZ-WS610 is a running headset that has a remote controller in the shape of a ring. You put it on one of your fingers and you control the player from that. The remote is a FANTASTIC addition, it drastically improves the user experience. Why has nobody thought about this for bike interphones?
Very happy with this unit.bought it and left the next day for a 3500 km two week ride. Some things it does not do such has Siri giving you directions while been connected to other riders but I can get directions while disconnecting and get the map going on my phone. This video is key to use this Cardo at its fullest..but we only watched it when we got back and still was happy. Clear speakers (I have a very loud bike) Batterie life is amazing in my opinion.two days without a charge Buttons are easy to reach. Got to watch the video though cause those 4 buttons do a lot of stuff. Cheers
These videos are great. I’ve owned a pair of Freecom2’s for about a year, generally speaking I’m really pleased with them. The only minor issues I have is using parallel audio streaming, it’s a bit fiddly to get working when using an iPhone. There’s also an issue with the Freecom not going into audio mode when paired with an iPhone, disabling then enabling Bluetooth on the iPhone fixes it. I did raise a support ticket but was told it was an iOS bug however I don’t have this issue with any of the other Bluetooth headphones I have so assume it will be fixed in a future Cardo update.
Is it possible to connect freecom 2+ to two other guys using packtalk bolds. Can seem to get them al connected together. The packtalk bold guys are connected to each other previously.
I have the 2+ and the mic mount sucks on my LS2 Strobe. Doesn't hold well. Same with the speakers and the recesses don't line up with the ears. Not Cardo's fault with the speaker line up, but the adhesive for the parts doesn't hold up over time. I had to go to 3M double sided tape for the unit itself too. I like the function of the unit itself, but the mounting hardware/tape sucks.
How do you set up the Freecom 2 so you can talk to your passenger and listen to music at the same time? This is a brilliant system but it’s annoying that we have to switch modes manually. Thank you for an awesome video which helped us install and start using our system with ease. We live in Australia and both have iPhones if that helps.
Hi there thanks for the content. can I have my phone paired to a dual set and switch between helmets to listen to music and use as a single rider on different days? example use open face helmet an on a colder day use full face helmet and my phone just connect to which I'm using on the day?
1) Make this is initiating a voice command from the phone initializes the headset mic instead of the device mic (such as using voice typing or search) 2) update the firmware to either is ONE button instead of a combo to initiate voice commands on the phone (SIri, Google Assist, etc) or, ideally, add a setting that allows for button customization 3) add a big button in the Cardo app that initializes phone voice assistant Future designs should probably include a large center button for initializing voice commands. As it is, this is a device with good sound quality, great speaker adaptability (I specifically chose this over Sena for the 3.5mm earphone jack) and app support...but is a worse BT headset than the cheap Amazon/eBay knock-offs.

Hi, trying to connect the unit to a ride command system on an Indian Chieftain Limited. I got most of the connections to work but I do not get voice during a phone call. It rings but other then that I get noting...any tips?
Eddy: I have the same problem with my 2018 Roadmaster. I got both connections to work, but their is NO ability to communicate on the phone function of Ride Command. Here's the curious part: I paired a LG HBS 710 to Ride Command, then paired my mobile phone to Ride Command, and everything worked exactly like it should--I could talk on the phone through the RIde Command system. Hi, The FREECOM 2 and the FREECOM 2+ have only one Bluetooth channel. The FREECOM 2 can connect to 1 passenger and the FREECOM 2+ can connect to 1 rider. To be able to connect in Bluetooth up to 4 devices you will need the FREECOM 4+ or any of the PACKTALK line units.

Hello, thank you for the video. I have a question. Im using a Samsung S10 plus with this handsfree device. When I go into the bluetooth settings on my Samsung, I have the options for the bluetooth devices I currently have connected. For example: I also connect my JBL extreame bluetooth speaker and the bluetooth options I have for the speaker are, allow for calls and audio, I deselect for calls as I dont want my phone ringing out loud on the speaker and everybody hearing my conversation. Once deselected, all I get coming out of the speaker is the music from my media player. When I go into the bluetooth settings for the Cardo, I get the same ootions, Calls and Audio. I deselect the audio as I dont want music coming out of the Cardio and my JBL speaker at the same time but when I do that, when I get phone calls the caller cannot hear me at all but I can hear them. Why does this happen? Surely Its up to me if I want to play music out of a external bkuetooth device and just use the cardo for phone calls. Please can you advise. You supoort would be greatly appreciated.

I got a freecom 2 plus Duo, in order to talk with my girlfriend. I have a BMW GS 850 Adventure 2020 with TFT panel. Well, i paired the rider one with the TFT painel and i share the media with the passenger. Both can listen to the music, but I cannot push to talk with the passenger, nothing happens when i press the button to open the intercom channel, but the passenger CAN OPEN THE channel to talk!!! Dont make sense it. Somebody can help me with it. Just let you know that BMW said that we must pair the cardos with the panel Not with the cellular.

Unfortunately the FC2 does not pair with our phones automatically. It always has to be paired manually over and over again which is really annoying. Also it is only possible to connect either the passanger via intercom or the phone. This simply makes no sense at all. Connection to the Cardo App is also more a lucky game than reliability. But nobody at cardo seems to care about this and we're still waiting for a firmware update to fix these things...

Yes, you can. After the first pairing process, your unit should automatically be available every time you turn the Bluetooth on.

Yes, you can each connect to your own phone and listen to your own music while riding and connecting just the intercom.

I only found 1 microphone, the boom mic. How come?
Unless you have the FREECOM 1 (which does not include a wired mic) you should have it. Check again, the wired mic is tiny and can easily be missed.
