The people who decided on the button features and sequences to activate them, deserve to sit on a bees' nest. I like that your devices are waterproof as opposed to water resistant as on the others, but on my Freecom2+ I noticed a few issues: - Whenever I would cough it would activate the system as if I was wanting to make a voice command (though it seems voice commands are not supported on the 2+). Ended up disabling the voice activation. - Music sharing lags, sometimes speeding up, sometimes pausing...I often have to disable music share, and restart it for it to work properly. - The kit came with 2 clamps to attach it to the helmet but only 1 adhesive. Luckily I could use the clamp on one of the helmets and the adhesive on the other one that the clamp didnt fit. - I went with Cardo instead of Sena because its waterproof and not just '"water resistant" but I suspect the Sena is more user friendly.

I bought the freedom 2. Love it. My query is I’m going on a riding holiday with 2 other bikers soon so they are going to buy them also. I assume the 2 only connects to 1 other device at a time not 2 so we can’t have a 3 way intercom? If that’s the case I was going to suggest they buy the freecom 4. If I got one also would it just clip in to my existing mount so I can retain the new mount and speakers etc for my wife’s helmet when she’s a passenger or do I need to swap it all over. Thanks

Freecom is a two-way rider to passenger communicator. It can pair to another communicator either by Cardo (Freecom 2, Freecom 4, Packtalk, or legacy Cardo intercoms units), or any other competing brand over short distances.
I have the Freecom 2+ and the voice commands don't work. The app text says "hey" instead of "hello". If i got a phone call, none of them work. (mic is ok, latest firmware)
I bought and installed the freecom 2 plus without any problem I switched on the voice control in the app and tried the mic by answering a phone call by yelling Hey which worked fine but I am not able to use voice control do you have a suggestion?

Hi Artur, The most prominent difference is the range. In the Freecom2+, you can have a rider-to-rider connection, unlike the Freecom2, where you can only connect to your passenger. Cardo Team
Both of my freecom 2's both keep reverting to "rider A" and won't pair. They say "paired" but you aren't able to hear one another. How do I change one back to "rider B" and why does it keep switching to rider A?

The commands using the buttons do not work. Switching between radio and music does not work using the key combination described here. Neither invoking Siri using the commands described. Only works using the app in the phone.
Hi, I just got mine and I am testing it as we speak. If I'm hearing shared music with my passenger and I want to speak to her, I have to press the down the bottom ''bluetooth'' button in order to start a conversation. If I want to return back to the share music mode, I have to terminate the conversation by pressing again the bluetooth button, to press the top up ''telephone'' button and then the ''minus'' button for 2 seconds. That is a bit to much to do everytime you want to say something and then just continue listening to your shared music. Is there a shortcut betwin the two functions that I didn't get straight? Thanks!
quality is ok Today i had the time to mount it in my helmet, replacing the 35€ Chinese com, but as i tryed it out, well, no difference I honestly thought that the Cardo name is one of the top products but i see that for this price it is not My Chinese Mornystar M3 for 35€ is better Even controles are more friendly to moto gloves M3 has pause button, 2+ does not M3 has easy Radio connection with one button only M3 has shuffle option, 2+ just skips music.... Sadly, i can not recommend this over cheap Chinese coms

Will the Freecom 2 allow me to hear GPS audio while being able to chat on the intercom at the same time? (without having to press buttons while riding). I just want to be able to hear directions / speedcam warnings while chatting with one other rider.
My Freedom 2 does not auto connect to my phone when turned on. Is there not a feature like this or do I have to go through the process of connecting each time?
you should turn bluetooth on the phone first befor connecting the freecom 2 on. that way it will always pair it takes 20/30 seconds to power on and pair. At least in my poor Iphone SE.

Unfortunately, at the moment, Apple has multiple issues with their last update, and recently changed its protocol. As a result, we are facing some connectivity issues. It can only answer phone calls and open the intercom channel.
