The fact that natalie is putting her voice out there and giving me this wicked sexy version of gold dust despite the inner turmoil that’s no doubt swirling makes me feel like a fucking champ, I come to this vid all the time hahaha
@@nickymo Exactly, I lover her voice. Like I've been binging some of her stuff lately and I have her covers stick in my head because I haven't heard the originals lmfao
I absolutely love this arrangement, that boogie piano 1-4 moving through that minor mode chord progression has a real bite to it. You don't hear those types of changes played like that that often, but you fucking should! Also, her piano playing just has a real charm to it. Also maybe I'm reading too much into it, but this is someone who obviously *really* loves rock and roll, not just in a "this is fun music way", she really really gives a fuck about what makes rock n roll so powerful. I love the idea of taking a more flowery, expansively instrumented, "modern" (ok it's 50 years old but shhh) rock tune, and stripping it right down to a 50s style boogie and just letting it sit there. Maybe I'm reading to much into this, but it's like she's saying "listen. LISTEN. Rock and Roll is fucking GOOD. All the other stuff people do with it, and to it, and on top of it, that's nice and all, but just, just listen to how GOOD this is." And she's right, it fucking rocks. Also, those blue notes and flourishes in the singing, fucking dope. Can't stop playing this tune like this now, sounds great. (Also I've a feeling that in the video when she briefly mentions about queer/"degenerate" people's contribution to music in passing, she was probably thinking of Little Richard. And what a way to honour his legacy, taking an iconic fleetwood mac song and stripping it right back to the foundation little Richard et. al. built, and showing just how solid that foundation is. Dope.)
Natalie should make an album.
@Hotep Enword Jogger that may have been her birth name but she goes by Natalie now
Hotep Yakub Enword Jogger pretty sure you’re an asshole. I saw that on UA-cam comments lol
We need more of Natalie singing, yes I know she would probably feel dysphoria, but it's still feminine voice and she is awesome no matter what

Hey total music theory chump here, do you know what chords she's playing?
@@aldopro23rex I'm out & on mobile rn, but I'll try to remember to reply later. Looking to play this on keys or guitar?
@@Muzikman127 hey no hurry don't worry! I was thinking about keys, thank you in advance!
Its like F to c# @@aldopro23rex
Still my favourite version of the song
I think she took the original and made it boogie woogie. Kinda brilliant if you ask me.
Class cover
Can someone make a note sheet or tabs for those who'd like to learn this masterpiece ?
Who are the names in the right side, good song btw.
