Even though I’m a paid social campaign manager full time at a large agency, and has these strategies on a budgeting and campaign perspective, I’ve always found it difficult to make content for my OWN brand. Thanks for speaking to the creative THEMES! I know how to use the tech but because clients use external creative agencies, it’s often out of our hands. At least now I can chip in and inform them of how to improve their creative AND consider my OWN social channels and how I can improve my own South African travel content. THANK YOU!
This video was really helpful. I’m new to using creating ads instead of just boosting a post. I will come back to this video as I plan my ads out. Everyone always talks about building a sells funnel but no one ever talks about what that looks like when creating ads. Or what makes an ad effective in a long term way. Thanks a lot.
Seriously this content is the best on youtube!!! Many other channels are just not clear or not giving examples, or simply giving superficial content on this matter. You guys rock! I always learn so much from this channel. Thank you for all the amazing content!
Hey thanks for the info. What if lvl 2 has only 1 to 2k of audience since it's a local business. As you know, the frequency will get high quite quickly. What would be your recommendation on combating that?
Hi there, Is that correct what we doing on Level one > If I choose to run Level one video ads, basically we're introducing our business to the audience and collecting data to prepare for level two ads?
I run an auto detailing business, and I'm a little stuck with coming up with ideas for level 1 and 2. Would a video explaining/showcasing me detailing a car be a good idea for level 1? Then level 2 offering a free service add-on with any booked detail?
I think that would be useful. Do you offer pain correction or deep interior cleaning and how it’s actually a sanitary safety concern to clean the inside of your car?
I would focus on things that people who CARE about their car would watch! How to keep your car debt free, weather streaking, how to get the perfect shine, how long does a detail last, etc.
Great video and local is HUGE. Even though we're in the middle of the pandemic...now is a GREAT time to focus on local and build that 'footprint' for when things get back to normal...eventually. One thing to consider... Pairing all of these GREAT social strategies with Google Local Service Ads. It's ~new-ish that has come out in the past year or so and allows you to dominate the local listings. Check it out and pair it with these great ideas!
Do you do it on your own account or do you do it on like a joined account with the buisness owner. I need to know like where to go to make the ads and run them
I’ve never subscribed so fast. Will sign up for the free 5 day challenge! Quick question: I’m marketing for my dads local security installation business but his target demographic is business owners that have commercial buildings + preferably Korean speaking. What would your recommendation be to get that step 1 secured? I’ve done lead gen fb ads but it just doesn’t seem to work even for a free consultation. Thanks so much!
Really interesting, I'm still thinking that for a house decoration store what kind of video for the first level of the funnel we cold make, I'm not quite sure besides showing the products what else could we do?
You could focus on the process, show how to decorate a room with your stuff, show how you pick items, show how to match stuff, even behind the scene of your store. :)
You would want to talk about design styles, different types of furniture for kids/pets, etc. Anything that someone who would be open to buying furniture may consider. Even talking about Feng Shui would be a good one!
I want to bounce on a point related to the social posts, we know that before/after posts create a lot of engagement but i dont know if its allowed to run ads over those posts !!
Hey Allie, love your content. I have a question. As local businesses generally don't have a huge budget to spend on ads, so how should we split the budget for all three level so that it is most beneficial.
I know you weren’t asking me but my initial thoughts are like this a.) go with video ads or engagement - they are still very cheap. Costs start to rise when you set up PPC ads b.) I think it will come down to ultimately being your decision. Give yourself a number and a focus and adjust as you go.
Hello, great video. My FB Account was put into "Restricted Status", I replied back to FB with my appeal and the info they requested. My account was still put into "Restricted Status" do you have any suggestions on how to change this? Thanks
This is a great video and very helpful for local and small business. I would encourage local and small businesses to invest in blog content -- helpful, consumer insight based content -- to drive organic search traffic, and then pick up on the retargeting strategy on the Facebook ads from there. I just hate to think of relying 100% on Facebook ad traffic on the primary source of traffic... upon which I would then be relying on that to feed my retargeting pipeline. thank you again and I'm now going to check out your next video :-) great stuff!
Glad you like them, Pedro! We put a lot of work into them, and it is always encouraging to hear that folks like you are getting value from them. -Mitch
This was a fantastic video and very informative. I actually do you run ads for a martial arts academy and it was interesting to see you segment the parents audience. Are you suggesting for level one that I release three different videos/blogs targeting the different needs of parents? And same for level 2?
Hey guys, quick question for all the advertisers out there using this framework. How much are you guys spending on the audience building vs offer campaigns? What is the minimum you would recommend spending on audience building ads for local businesses?
Hello there great informative video this is an amazing strategy! How big should the level 1 informational ads audiences be? In order to get ready to advance to level 2.

That's why you do more level 1! Build the audience!!! Local audiences should have way more than 1-2 k in level 2.
Hi there, Is that correct what we doing on Level one > If I choose to run Level one video ads, basically we're introducing our business to the audience and collecting data to prepare for level two ads?

I would use the same strategy, but business owner targeting and korean language targeting. There are also custom lists you can purchase as well.

Hey guys, quick question for all the advertisers out there using this framework.
How much are you guys spending on the audience building vs offer campaigns?
What is the minimum you would recommend spending on audience building ads for local businesses?
OMFG this stuff is amazing!
AB3 method! is it actually exists?
What about Facebook Lookalike Audiences (in a similar/parallel workflow)?
Lookalike audiences are in level 1 as it’s cold traffic!
This is great... but what about the new IOS release that kills retargeting IOS devices?
With iOs14, you might as well forget about the pixel and use additional tools to supplement your FB ads : email, SMS or a chatbot.
top vid!
Hello there great informative video this is an amazing strategy! How big should the level 1 informational ads audiences be? In order to get ready to advance to level 2.
You grow it consistently so several thousand to start and then keep it growing!
This still valuable after iOS 14 update?
Good question.
