Despite the ICC submitting an arrest request for Netanyahu, the Israeli wartime government continues to be frustrated with the pace of the war in Gaza, leading many to suspect that Israel's war cabinet is about to collapse.

The newly arised mindset is that war is a #waste.
There's always something saving him
Hasn’t his popularity plummeted after the Hamas attack? To the point where they expect him to resign after the war is over? It wouldn’t surprise me if he prolonged the war for the sole reason of maintaining his grip on power.

Israelis: No for two state solution, but we want normalization with you.
Saudis: ….???
2 state solution seems great on paper but it has very big risk of both these to states again going to war in future and now its kind of become a frequent war between Israel and Palestine (or hamas) which restart every few years and create a humanitarian crisis for normal people who just want to live
@@shootershooter9079An independent Palestine can form a defense pact with the rest of the Arab world, and an Israel that doesn’t have territorial disputes can seek an exemption to the “European” requirement for joining NATO.
Though NATO might pull the Greece/Turkey approach in that situation and demand Israel and Palestine be admitted simultaneously. Assuming Palestine can form a proper democracy.
There’s a lot of potential pathways to peace in a 2 state solution.
@@luciferkotsutempchannel Lets consider ur scenario first all the major Arab countries r dependent on us security guarantees (and spend heavily on us military hardware) none of them have a actual strong armed forces
second till now even non north atlantic territories of nato nations is not included in that pact so its very unlikely they will allow israel to join and let suppose even if they allow Israel to join then now technically us is guaranting security to both parties does us want to do this no us president will push us deep into conflicts with very less gains when they have looming risk of china and loosing their global power and even if some us president want to do so us people will not allow it (large part of us population don't even like giving aid to Ukraine so giving security guarantee to palestine and Israel they rnt going to support it)
Then there is hamas(self proclaimed representative of Palestine) and Iran proxy and will iran stop funding and arming them and let its years of work in making hamas go into vain when it can use it to stop a alliance between Israel and Arab states like Saudi etc no they will keep aiding them and arming them so terrorism will be there as it is now.
And hamas elite will not like to loose their grip on gaza so they will attack Israel again and again to stay relevant and keep supporting goals of iran.
Now democracy can't be applied when there r people who want to consolidate power if u blindly put democracy into place authoritarian regimes will find their way like happened in russia
So again ur solution looks good in theory but can't be applied practically
The Saudis couldn’t care less about the palestinians. This is an American demand and Israel have historically did everything to have two states and to move on. No Israeli outlet suggested a civil war scenario. The article you showed is merely a medium post by undisclosed "Andalusian Horsman"- which I never heard about. The chairman of the Histadrut (Israel’s biggest trade union) already indicated that if elections won’t be announced in the short term he’ll set a public strike- which is something no prime minister can fight against. So- election will be held, with Netanyahu trying to push the date to after Nov. 5- the US elections, with the narcissistic idea that a Trump win will lead Israelis to support Netanyahu (the so-called "friend of Trump", which is BS ).
Even worse, Andalus is the Arabic name for Spain when they held it.
"Andalusian Horseman" kek, that's a pretty obvious pseud in terms of what they stand for. However he may be half right, Israel was on the brink of ripping itself to shreds with IDF strikes looming before Oct. 7th. It's not implausible to see Israel having some sort of coup or uprising if the crazy fundamentalists keep trying to push the envelope.

Wait, why would there be a civil war? If there are calls for civil war, you should talk about it, and not just put it in for bait.
Would the ICC prosecution decision harm Netanyahu domestically, or have no effect, or maybe even help him?
It may hurt him a bit but his base of voters wil vote for him no matter what and he is already not popular among other Israelis.
On the other hand the ICC prosecution may seem to Israelis as an external attempt to influence the war and Nethanyahoo could try and use it as the reason for the failure to remove Hamas in the war.
Netanyahu is politically screwed no matter what if Israeli history is anything to go by.
Domestically, it has already helped to re-unite the war cabinet temporarily, but Netanyahu is so disliked by the Israeli public, I don't think it will have an impact on him at all long term.
It will help him. It creates a seige mentality in population.

As Israeli, any talk of a civil war breaking is completely detached from reality. That’s a complete hallucination. All Israelis support whatever will remove the threat, let us live quietly, and we just disagree on the way to do it. The left thinks that by catering to the enemies they will be satisfied and stop attacking us. This was done in the Oslo process and the withdraw from Gaza. They think that if we give up on idf security of the west bank, leave Jewish cities with significant cultural and religious sites like Hebron, Scheme, Bethlehem, Jericho etc, they will stop attacking us and we’d be able to move on finally. The right does trust the enemies and wants full security control, strategic depth, and Jewish presence in our old cities. But there is 0% chance of a civil war.

This is disproven by countless politicians who didn't start a war. Its not nearly as simple.
Thank you for your explanation!
Just to clarify:
Netanyahu's gov. already has a majority in the knesset without gantz. Gantz was just to provide extra stability and votes in the knesset because of wartime.
Netanyahu does not need gantz to keep his majority stable in the knesset.
Gallant is the issue given he is also of Likud. A new war cabinet will at least include smotrich given that the finance minister also oversees a ministerial position in the defence ministry. Its a matter of whether a faction around gallant or within likud can garner enough votes (ie, just 4) to vote against the new war cabinet.
There's also the issue of the ultra-orthodox parties in government likely not willing to vote for war cabinet that will end exemption for hareedi jews from the idf
Netanyahu needs to be out, even his own Defense minister disagrees with him on the future of Gaza, let Gantz and parts of Likud like Gallant sort this out.

Yes in terms of his personal policy opinions he is similar but more secular. But in power he will be propped up by left and arab parties that will pull him more to the left in practice, just as Netanyahu is propped up by far right parties that pull him more to the right.
Both the ruling party and Netanyahu's most prominent rival both basically agree there should never be a Palestinian state that that Palestinians should be ethnically cleansed from Gaza- and people still claim the problem is "just" Netanyahu
Most people in Israel in principle are open to a two state solution with a Palestinian state. However as there is no assurance that it won’t become like Gaza and become a terror base to attack Israel.
They won’t openly support a Palestinian state given what happened with the 2005 Gaza withdrawal where the Gaza Palestinians could have built a secure economy and life in peace with Israel but instead hamas took over and made it what it is today.
So in practice they will not agree to a Palestinian state if it is governed like Gaza, which is what according to polls most Palestinians want.

2. Likud with Netanyahu for a long time was more than willing to sit with the extreme religious Zionist party which you said they didn't, about Jewish Power party you are right they didn't want to sit with them in the past.
3. Minister of defense Yoav gallant, is actually reassuring the Public that he will not withdraw, you can say that maybe in the future he will but it's not really accurate to put him in the same place about withdrawing with Benny Gantz that is from an opposition party, even though they both see a lot of things eye to eye.
You are doing God's work with your journalism. Thank you!
I hope Netanyahu will leave office and will be replaced by his brother Netangogle

@@danceteras2884 Ohh, now i look dumb. But ty for clerification.
As someone who understands what's going on in israel quite deeply i can say that this video is more accurate than 90% of the videos out there in english about israeli politics.
Since you know so much, can you explain what part in these video is more accurate? And what you predict?
@@wildman958most of what was said is true except that a civil war is not something that's even close to happening. My prediction is that the fighting in Gaza will continue for the coming 2-3 years as the IDF erodes the capabilities of Hamas. That is unless an agreement is reached whereby Hamas disarms or its leaders leave gaza and give Gaza to the PA. Unlikely. Most likely Gantz will be the next prime minister of Israel but it may be only in the next elections in a few years as netanyahu cherishes his prime ministership more than anything and will not resign even though majority of israelis demand it. Even if he is driven to the extreme by ben gvir he will be willing to swerve to the fascist right as he completely lacks a moral compass or a willingness to do what is good for the country when it doesn't serve his political interest. His cynicism knows no bounds. The only chance for any sort of peace is a very strong dictatorial Palestinian leadership that is able to violently suppress Hamas and the Islamic jihad. This is not likely at the moment to happen but if it doesn't Hamas and pij will successfully sabotage any attempt at an agreement. It's also fairly likely that a war will insue in the northern border with hizbulla in the coming 12 months that will see great devastation in Israel and far far more devastation in Lebanon.
I totally didn’t realize Bibi is keeping the war going for his own political survival. I have autism and am a very literal thinker so it’s hard for me to read between the lines. Thank you TLDR!
anyone *critisizes Netanyahu
Netanyahu: "you are khamas"
the whole Khamas joke feels kinda antisemitic to me ngl. Like, it's laughing at how Hebrew names sound, it's in the same vein as how Ching Chong jokes are (rightfully) considered Sinophobic. I'm not trying to claim that all anti Zionism is anti-Semitism or anything like that, just this particular joke
In these times all media housea are sold already and will show the narrative of their sponsor
Normalisation with Saudi Arabia is the holy grail for Israel. With that one move, countries such as Pakistan are much more likely to recognise Israel too, this is significant because they're the only Muslim country with actual nuclear weapons and the largest military.
and? they have their neighbor to worry about, unless they manage to fully cripple india, a country 6x their size, they aren't going to do much against israel. but normalisation with saudi arabia is not happening
@@adamelghalmi9771 India has China to worry about who is Pakistan biggest ally.
6:00 "resettled"...so, genocide?
Someone doesn't have a dictionary
@@SirSX3 alright, so resettling the strip... doesn't take land from palestinians? it wouldn't force them to leave their homes?
@@adamelghalmi9771That's not a genocide.
@@adamelghalmi9771it might be bad, but it isn't genocide. Genocide is murder not resettlement

How would it collapse if he still has a majority? Some questionable points made
At this point a 2 state solution almost guarentees perpetual war. Just now with even more legitimacy as the PA will most likely join the Arab League, and will strain relations throughout the Middle East. A Palestinian state will most likely be even more of an escalation towards regional war, as other Arab states will be binded by treaties to go to war at the side of Palestine.
Believe it or not, the current situation is one which is more likely to produce peace than a 2 state solution which randomly pops up. There needs to be SHARP deradicalization throughout the Palestinian territories, a strong leader with a likening to peace, and IMMEDIATE treaties between a Palestinian state and Israel. A 2 state solution is not the simplist solution.
"Not every "return to Zion" is a religiously significant achievement: one sort of return which may be described in the words of the prophet: "When you returned you defiled my land and made my heritage an abomination" (Jeremiah 2:7)." - Yeshayahu Leibowitz 🇮🇱

That’s also described in the Quran, the jews will gain power on the whole world again but they are already a screwed up society!
Qur'an 17:8 to the Children of Yacob (Israel): "Your Lord may yet show mercy to you. But if you return with your evil, We shall return with Our punishment."

Politicians answering questions? Israeli government is wild
Three warmongers. Hard to choose who’s the worst.
No country that lacks a constitution can truly be considered democratic and law based.
So the UK isn’t a democracy either?
Also, Israel kind of DOES have a constitution, though an imcomplete one. It’s called the Basic Laws
The idea of civil war in Israel is absolute nonsense. A people so bound together by historical and imminent threats is least likely to turn on each other when a much more real enemy is knocking on their door.
That's not true. Although it has not escalated to it just yet. While our enemies are bashing against every gate, we have a government that doesn't function in a way that will finish that horrible war. Netanyahu is as dangerous to Israel as the terrorists we have as neighbors.
